So how does this work?
I unlocked a hidden Retribution appearance on my Pala#1 and my Pala#2 can transmog it on a weapon that’s not an artifact weapon.
I killed 1000 players for that 4th tint on Pala#1 but Pala#2 can’t transmog it.
How do I unlock those hidden skins on alts? Do I have to unlock the hidden skin itself? Do I have to kill 1000 enemy players? Do I have to do both?
edit: huh, after relogging we times from one Pala to the other I suddenly unlocked on both. Not sure how.
Ok, here’s how it works. First of all those appearances work account wide only for transmog, not in artifact forge. Artifact forge is per character and you can’t transmog artifact into an artifact.
Second thing, when you unlock new artifact skin you need to relog(log out and in on the same character) in order for the game to add it to your collection. For some reason the system only scans your unlocked artifact skins when you log in to add them to your collection. And if it’s not in your collection, you can’t use it on alts.
