As long as they remove cloaks from the loot table it’s no problem. I don’t want to have 3 cloaks in my vault while I have a legendary/artefact cloak.

I enjoy borrowed power, and I wish it was even more powerful. I’m interested in playing a full game, where the sum of all elements is important, not only raid/dungeon simulator. Wow is an expensive game. 13 a month, especially in my strong currency, is not a joke, so I expect to play a world of warcraft game that is the full package, not a watered down version, only so people don’t have to play the full game to play on a competitive esports level.

They should make the current belt, next artifact cape, and siren isles ring best in slot for next patch, and then remove belts+cape from vault, but not from drops. Visions of Nzoth should also stay imo until next expansion.

Why they do that?
Why this borrowed crap again and again and again?

What do you not enjoy about powers like this, that couldn’t be problematic for any other form of gear? If you dislike timegating, guess what, they could have designed Crests to have lots of timegating. If you don’t enjoy grindy systems, they could have made Valorstones or Crests very grindy. There is no limit to how grindy it could have beem. If you don’t enjoy that it’s “borrowed”, it’s even less borrowed than normal gear, because unlike almost all my current gear, the belt from overcharged delves is gonna stay with me next expansion

It is borrowed power since its giving talents/skills that you gonna lose the moment next expansion hit.

That will happen anyway, as classes get reworked or changed constantly just to keep it interesting.

Everything I heard people say about what the community calls “borrowed power” makes no sense to me at all. I wonder where that illogical thought originated. Probably due to AP grinds, which is a separate system that came along stuff like artifacts in the past, but it’s not unique or tied to it directly. AP grinds could have been tied to a Paragon talent system like in Diablo, if they wanted to do it. They could have tied that to anything they wanted. Even Renown could have worked that way. So what people didn’t like wasn’t artifacts or legendaries, they didn’t like specifc systems surrounding those. It has nothing to do with artifacts on its own.

When did we get that? I must have been away on the day that it was avaliable.

See you in Midnight, maybe. I’m out for now.

Borrowed power is the worst thing of RPG game.
Now imagine if divine shield was borrowed power instead of class specific ability.
Or warrior bladestorm and they lose it next expansion.
Its like having a baby and give him toy to play with and after some time you take it by force from the baby.

Can you tell me the difference between grinding Crests and powering up an artifact weapon

Sometimes you lose abilities. Next patch warriors lose spell block, but I don’t see complaints on forums of warriors being angry

Literally go to the warrior forum. I see nowhere someone saying “please let me keep my spells”. What I’m seeing is “please rework”

It is borrowed power since its giving talents/skills that you gonna lose the moment next expansion hit.

What about tier sets?

I’ve seen the call tier and talents borrowed power. The term is basically meaningless nowadays

They modify how certain ability work by boosting the damage or giving some stats.
Its different.
Losing ability or losing some modification.

They did. When spell reflect was removed they were angry.
I’ve been there and played warrior. I myself was angry because spell reflect was fun.
Reflect spell , pyroblast , deep freeze ( removed now idea why) and other things.
During tbc fighting pom pyro mage and reflecting two pyroblasts was so fun.
