I want to express my disappointment about how this artefact power is implemented. first of all it is confusing. I had no idea what it was or what it does and had to explore the internet to figure it out. that’s bad design right there. not only that, it makes it impossible for me to see my current xp unless i disable my rep tracking. that is really awful. I mean monumentally bad, that i have to actually disable rep progress to be able to see my current xp.
I have to wonder why on earth this artifact bar HAd to go there and I cannot disable it at all. there is no additional screen showing information about teh artifact it applies to, the progress of it, what comes at higher stages, how it effects my gameplay. nothing like this. it merely says it helps my heart of azeroth, but it fails to say HOW it helps teh heart of azeroth. I’m left guessing that the level of teh heart of azeroth is the number on hte icon, but it’s just a guess because it doesn’t say it in a tooltip or anywhere. as far as i can tell there is only even 3 levels because the weapon that has unlock effect from hte heart of azerot only has 3 levels, so why am i stuck with a artefact power bar for 3 levels? if it goes up mmore than 3 levels then how do I view that? what does it effect if not teh gear?
why doesn’t it show the azeroth artifact power in hte currency screen or on a panei can open by clicking the heart itself? none of this makes any sense, it actively disrupts other features i.e. the XP bar, and it is unclear, has no explanation and is apparently pointless as far as i can tell right now.
did you not do any focus testing at all? no QA? do you even ask anyone else if any of this makes sense? this is supposed to be a triple A game, right?
Lol anyone still using original blizzard interface?
Nope elvui for life
Can’t go back lol
I use elvui aswell. And turned ap bar off cause i dont need to see it. For that matter i dont have rep bar out either like 99% of the time.
You dont make much sense though. Levels on neck is basically the same as gaining experience and it goes up to currently maxed out at 50.
It doesnt make sense for it to be a currency.
And azerite levels lets you choose different traits on your head/shoulder/chest called azerite armor when you reach certain levels required. But i think it was pretty clear. Atleast for me.
Leveling from 110 to 120 is relatively fast, and once you’re 120, you can see the AP and reputation bars simultaneous.
I switched to ElvUI a while ago, too. After spending a good amount of time on customizing it (and switching it to the WoW font), it really improved my WoW gaming experience. I use Faction Addict to track my reputations.
Seriously if you have problem understanding AP bar then you should probably try some easier game …
The ElvUI is an addon so you can change almost everything … I use Bartender but imagine it’s much the same. I can move or hide individual bars, change the size … do everything really that you want to do and a lot more.
I use original Blizzard UI and have zero addons. Yet Im a GOD among the mortals. Living and breathing flame. Death comes to you all!
AP bar is good addition so i can see how much i have/need without going into any menus and look there. I dunno why thin wide bar is causing issues to anyone.
I think the bar is simple and intuitive. On the plus side, the bar disappears when the neck reaches level 50, you’ve only got 47 levels to go!
I swear to god the next vendor that gets removed I’m blaming on you
Bar filled = your neck gets stronger
Bar filled again = your neck gets stronger again
Repeat 50 times
I’m sorry you found the AP bar confusing. Just to clarify while your XP bar is active (any character you are levelling) you can only have the other bar as either Reputation OR Artifact Power. Once you ding 120 you can have the reputation bar and the artifact power bar showing.
Thank you for your replies and sorry I could not reply sooner, my account was locked out from posting for some bizarre reason ( i have been subscribed all this time) .
I found a good rep bar on curse, so i have that displayed and I also have fadebars so I can have my rep showing normally, but when i float my mouse over my action bars, it fades in and shows my xp and AP covering the rep bar.
Translation: I have no idea how to install and maintain Addons…
I actually noticed during their live stream of the Jaina world first some of the Method players are still using it.
I do because I am afraid of new things and addons scare me.
I installed the tomtom add on and cried the whole time.
But still with customized WAs etc.
Some high end players always use the default UI because you’re not allowed to use any addons on official blizzard events (MDI, PvP tourneys, etc.)
Though they allowed some specific addons for the next PvP tourney.
I still use blizzard default UI, Can proudly I Managed to get cutting edge garrosh while having some very good logs
Never understood Elvui and I find it annoying and overly complicated, You don’t need to have something that looks complicated to be considered one of the best.
