So I have done all the quests in legion on my paladin up to the point where the NPC Lord Maxwell Tyrosus should spawn and give the first quest in the artifact questline where you get to choose your first artifact.
However, he is not showing up for some reason and I have tried to look everywhere for answers. Wowhead, youtube, forums, asked in-game and nobody seems to know why he’s not spawning. I don’t have the quest and I certainly have not done it since I would then have the artifact. Does anyone know what to do or what is causing this? I mean I can’t explore the Legion storyline and progress with the quests until its fixed.
Heya, Lord Maxwell is a follower/champion, so if he has been sent out on a mission or assigned as a bodyguard he won’t be able to provide you the quest until he returns from the mission or is unassigned as a follower, this tends to be the case when an NPC is missing from the order halls
I have the same problem. I think I might have accepted the quest for The Silver Hand artefact weapon at some point, but never got around to do any part of it and just abandoned it so I could start it again later. But now Maxwell does not have a quest for me, but he is standing there in light hope chapel…
Having the same issue, started the light reveals, but just forgot about it and abandoned and now when I meet him at Uther’s tomb I can’t talk to him. No quest marker nothing and he doesn’t respawn at dalaran either
