I am jumping and in mid-air still taking damage. Jumped early once, touched the ground as the ability was coming past me and 0 damage. Is this ability inconsistent or is there a time or trick?
There’s no ‘coming paste you’ the visual is just big and flashy to get you to notice. You have to be in the air when the cast bar ends.
You need to be in the middle of the jump as the cast finishes.
Yeah, I jump before the cast ends too. I was the only one in my group to not be affected so it has to be working that way.
This mechanic is the same since Cataclysm.
There’s a wa for it with a bar that goes red to green, jumo when it’s green makes the whole thing trivial. Not at pc to link it, just search asaad jump on WA website.

there is a weakaura that tells when to jump, it makes it super easy even while you target the spark
