Why was it changed to 100 rep per week? That is atrociously low.
You want catch up mechanics? How about this. You messed up phase 1 so badly that near enough everybody is WSG exalted at this point, the catchup was that you could do the quest weekly for 1000 rep (so, 21 weeks from Rev>Exalted) taking you a long azz time to catch up, but, you know, eventually you’d be there. Now, WSG is not played, as everybody is exalted due to insane premade rep farms and Ashenvale abusing… And, as always, it’s the newer players that get dumped on.
Losing the Ashenvale rep AND the premade rep is unbelievably overlooking one of the major inconveniences of this game, if you do not play from the start, you will never, ever catch up.
If you don’t want this to be a hardcore game, like you keep saying publicly repeatedly… STOP MAKING IT ONE.

When I did it this wednesday it still gave 1000 rep and havent seen a post about it being down to 100, might be a bug report it instead, complaining on the forums seldom leads to anything
It’s not a bug, they stealth nerfed it on Thursday morning right after release.
- I have handed in on 4 heroes, just to be sure.
So, you cant use drums at 25+, AND they nerfed to rep. to 100? Whats the point on the event then? I wonder
How can you be sure its not a bug?
That you have handed it in on multiple characters and have gotten the same result does not mean its not a bug or a error in how the code was implemented, most likely they had the idea for how the WB was supposed to work since early on wrote some code and missed a 0 in how much rep you should get and when they pushed out phase 2 it was pushed with the wrong numbers, on server reset it will most likely be fix if not before in a hot fix.
With which level did you did the weekly?
Maybe its over lvl 25 only 100 rep?
Looks like the rep got adapted to the level yes. doesn’t make any sense now to make the grind longer.
at what level have you done quest,? done mine at thursday when cap was still 25 andwas giving 1k.
meby yuo have to be “max” level to get 1k rep similar to extra gold reword so 40 level?
Hi. Like many people, I’m levelling my first SoD character in phase 2.
Can someone explain what and why I would want this rep? Are there rewards that will be useful at 40?
Is it something a new player should ignore if it’s going to take 30~ weeks?
Thanks.
Epick Wrist at level 40 50 and 60, epick legs at level 60
and some blue rings neck weaponds and cloaks for level 25 38 48 58
Of course you ignore this. It is about squeezing out a 10e-5 advantage that doesn’t matter
The fact that lvl25s were grinding to exalted was a brief episode of manifested and endless Blizzard incompetence.
Not even at 60 , where exalted rep comes naturally if you pvp - do you actually need any of the gear.
You get some nice items, both now and in the future. But you will do just fine without them. However some people act like if you don’t have the best of the best all the time you might as well not bother playing the game.
I hate fact they force us to do pvp for pve content and then pvp event nerf to the ground.
Seems that it was fixed and gives now 2k rep.
I didnt checked the level, just read it in my guildchat that one did the weekly and got 2k rep.
It doesn’t help with catching up much, but I think we can be grateful that Ashenvale allowed us to get into Revered with a relatively hard faction and avoid premades in WSG.
Yeah but u still need the last 21k which is kinda the worst part
I’m at 16k/21k as of this moment. I did the turn in last thursday when phase 2 was live and got a 1000 reputation.
I did most of it solo, so no OP, unless you were a hunter, mage, druid or a priest, the chance of you being invited to a premade was close to 0. And while I may have joined some late night premades, because we weren’t strict on which classes could come, we were still getting our head kicked in by opposing premades who did have stricter rules. One time we even lost to a pug!
You win some, you lose some. I won multiples times as a pug against other premades too, mostly thanks to insane FC carriers who abused every nudge of the terrain.
That being said, take solace in the idea that most PvE andies have gotten to exalted, and you’re more likely to end up with players who do want to participate in PvP, because to some it was “quicker to lose and requeue” than to actually play the Battleground.
I do want to state that I can’t wait to leave this stinking BG because one exceptional FC can make your somewhat enjoyable experience into a complete hellhole of playing cat and mice for an hour.
Arathi Basin here I come.
