Ok my dear WoW friends.
Im pretty new to mount collecting (and the game overall) so dont mean to brag because i dont have anything cool, except…
Today, after around 30 runs i got me the Ashes of Al ´Ar 
I must say i had pretty luck because it wasnt that much of an effort.
If you have it, you know the feeling when it pops.!
I just thought it never dropped and all theese guys on stream showing they got it were just faking or something.

Love that mount. A nice fact you may not know, the first ever Ashes of Al’ar was gifted to a kid called Ezra Chatterton, who came to Blizzard with Make a Wish.
It took me 57 runs, 53 on my Mage and 4 on my Warlock.
Guess who got the mount? My Warlock. 
But I was still thrilled.

Thats nice, not too many runs too! I got it on an Night Elf Priest who is an alt who was gonna be retired… now i need to show him some respect!

I parked around 12 alts there. But decided i was gonna give it like 30-50 chances but still didnt thought i wasnt gonna get it!

Similar story with the llothien prowler - tried getting it for 4 months! on this warrior. But then on my new main I got it on my first try. I wasn’t even trying really.
i had it in tbc, when it was exclusively +310 speed. Was flying faster then others…oh those days…
Yes, best looking mount ever. Heavenly serpents are also best looking mounts.

Been trying to get the fabled beast since I started playing this game back in wrath. I’m 100% positive Blizzards put a lock on it for me.
I am on a silly amount of tries for mim’s head being a collector means 30-50 tries is nothing you need to brace yourslef for 100’s and some cases 1000s of try’s
Atm my collection is small compared to others at 541 mounts and 30 easy ones left to get before the grind really kicks in .
Got Ashes on my first attempt, same with Llothien Prowler - but Invincible and Midnight still elude me
that is to say curse those 2 mounts, not the OP…
Feel free to curse Midnight, already got 'em 
will be doing that one once they fix the Legion scaling - totally borked still
Same case with me and the legendary bow. 7% drop rate… yeah right.
