Ashes of Creation

No.

only mmo im interested in playing is warcraft

I did not mean this actually.

I ment its a bug that does not happen anymore while a friend told me its a fix.

You dont have to do any animation canceling to increase your output in ESO, no matter if you cancel the animation, the GCD will happen.

The animation canceling is very good inside PVP when you want to sort of “hide” some animations from your oponent.

For a example as a mag sorc, if was not canceling the fragments you would see first my sorc’s hand and then the projectile which gives you more time to block it, then you just cancel it your enemy has to see the projectile which this gives you an advantage.

I had this conversation before with a lot of people, there is alot of them thinking animation canceling actually allow them to cast faster but it doesnt. Im always canceling and it was a hell for me to try and NOT cancel and go against my muscle memory but it makes 0 difference in PVE

What said above counts for block canceling.
Bar swap canceling DOES work indeed as you successfully merge a GCD with the bar swap.

They made huge promises they can’t back up .
And this thing with release years ago the release date was for alpha 1 was 2020 , now 2023 ? no offense i doubt they can deliver what they said , again same tactic applying hype . This stuff is getting old and primitive .

Ok let me explain, since I played eso for a long time and I still play occasionally. It’s a bug the players accidentally found and of course started taking advantage of to do more dmg. ESO devs wanted to remove it, but too much time has passed and the players are too used to it and of course a lot of them complained that it should stay in the game because as they say it is a skill. For me it is definitely a terrible thing, nothing difficult but very boring + it looks idiotic. But it is what it is.

On the other hand… it is probably a good thing it is taking time? Hopefully, it means that they’ll get the game right on launch as opposed to other games… cough shadowlands cough

I get an email about it every month, which I scan for a release date, then disappointed, delete it.

Well as i said above, sadly you dont do more damage by using it.
Its a common misconception among PVE players, in pvp you have to use it anyways no matter what. You just want to hide those projectiles as much as you can.

Log in ESO, try a test by doing animation canceling. Then make another test without animation canceling, there is literally 0 effect.

That counts only on block canceling, on bar swap canceling it does work because you merge the GCD with the bar swap GCD. yet a friend told me that neither bar swap canceling works and its my idea. :joy:

I’m not sure if you’re doing it right. LA then fast use spell, LA then spell and so on. Light Attack has no gcd, that’s the trick. The point is to use LA + some spell instead of just spell.

That is not animation canceling, its LA weaving.
Animation canceling is when you LA+Skill+Block to cancel the animation of a skill

We are talking about 2 different things here :stuck_out_tongue:

Nah, that’s ArcheAge. Ashes of Creation is a close second, though.

Yes, you’re right, they call it weaving, but for me it’s still just animation canceling, because with spell you interrupt/cancel LA animation. With ‘‘weaving’’ (LA, MA or HA) you definitely do more damage and you have other benefits, and that’s a bug that unfortunately remained in the game.

There will be few different type of city’s. Military, economical, intelligence ect. And if I’m not wrong just one of the type cities will elect major by voting. Military type candidates will duel, economical type mayor position will be on bidding and so on.

Will be extremely fun when every city is owned by a chinese gold seller…

Hmm, could be a problem, I agree.

That will bring even more issues. Class balance is never perfect, so if that’s true then some people will already start at a disadvantage.

Gold one is… hard again  If the game will attract a big crowd, there will be gold sellers as well. Also as we learnt from WoW, individuals might have a lots of money, but organised guilds / groups will easily outmatch them. So we can except some “boosting” communities there as well, who just buy every position with their infinite money.

The game is bleeding from so many wounds that it could be a British monarch.

100% there will be some problems, but they are trying their best and will try sort out what is in their powers. With that attitude we won’t have nothing new:d I try to be positive about their game, cos at least to me, Ashes Of Creation is the only game what I’m waiting for, no other good games on horizon.

I’m curious as well, just have my doubts about it. The hype seems unreal and the expectations / promises as well. But I hope they deliver.

I forgot to mention one game that actually has potential, Corepunk. I think it’s a hidden gem but a lot of people still don’t even know about that game. It is perhaps the only game that has potential in the mmo market because it is actually a unique mmo game. It is not exposed or advertised too much, there is no overhype train, which in my opinion is just a bonus because I think a lot of us are too old and experienced for overhype trains and we know how it usually ends. Overhype trains are for the younger generation, but they will also learn quickly

Also Diablo 4 has huge potential because it is an mmo or more precisely a semi-mmo game. The graphics are great, the animations are great, the story will be as good as in any Diablo game so far, the zones are beautiful and creepy at the same time. It remains to be seen what the systems will be like. Great potential for now, but we’ll see what comes out of it.

Well. If the hype matches the game engine. It’s gotta be good. :joy:
