Ashes of the Embersoul potentially bugged and some Feedback!

Hiya. I think Ashes of the Embersoul has a potential bug with the proc of the “Dire circumstances”, making it not proc at all, even though it will be the first time it can proc in the combat. I tested this in raid and in M+.

There are two issues that I have ran into. I play a rogue so I have cheat death, just to be clear. So hitting the right % of health for the dire circumstances to proc is very easy, and often when I cheat death, the proc just doesn’t happen at all.

The first issue is very simple. Proccing cheat death might be stopping the trinket from proccing Dire Circumstances, I dont know how. I’m not sure why this is the case, but the trinket dire circumstances buff just doesn’t proc at all despite it not having procc’d previously in the combat (I tested it on Taylor Sageswift).

The second issue is it’s being very strange with how the trinket procs when it eventually does proc dire circumstances. Sometimes I get low, about 15% or below that HP, with no cheat death. The trinket doesn’t proc, then I get healed to full, and take damage to get low again, and then it procs. It’s being very strange.

There is another piece of feedback I would like to give, which is if you want the trinket to not always proc or have some people taking unnecessary damage just to get some damage, you could make it a 20 minute cooldown instead of just “Once per combat”. Because “Once per combat” makes no sense in M+. I’m assuming you have a hard coded timer on how often it can proc dire circumstances, but communicating that on the trinket tooltip would be great.

Thank you,
