So when you use an emote with a sound effect in the game like /laugh, /train, /silly, /flirt, etc. you hear your character talk or emmit some kind of sound. You can adjust the volume of this in the game by tuning the audio effects. But to me, it appears that if I want to hear my character clearly, I have to tune it up a lot, but then every effect in the game gets really loud. That’s why emote sounds should get a different channel, also, those who are annoyed by emote spamming can tone it down
…or dont spam emotes.
Are emotes really important to players except to troll.
This is what gets me too. When you lower the volume on some things like effects, it tunes down a LOT of things.
We definitely need more separate channels to help us control the volume of certain things better.
Emotes, right now, are beyond low in volume.
Every time someone puts down a trainset
I would LOVE is Blizzard made the Boss Transmog thing stop workin in raids, stupid boss yells blocking out the actual Boss yells.
yes, emotes are important since this is an MMORPG game. i know it’s easy to forget to interact with others in our socially distanced society, but in a fantasy world, it’s much easier to do since there’s significantly less pressure on how you act or how others see your actions, because there’s a great chance that these little interactions will happen only once between two individuals. so what i try to say is that emotes give you more opportunity to express yourself socially, therefore it’s more likely that you feel connected to your character, the world, and other players. btw i checked yesterday, and you can mute emotes in the game if you feel that they are only bothering you
Yes, they are
This!
I’d love to see Blizzard fix that one day.
As a roleplayer, I regularly use emotes for more immersion, even when I’m playing alone.
But for years now, it’s been impossible to do that without bleeding from my ears because the fighting sounds are sooo loud.
Blizzard, please separate the sounds of emotes/footsteps/mounts from the fighting sounds. Let the players choose.
