so i bought the windows version for under Ā£17 and not the steam one cause steam aint selling it in UK.
They are different versions of the client and tbh id rather have the windows one anyway.

You donāt have to be upset that I donāt like the same game as you, maybe you need to remind yourself of the same thing and get over yourself? This thread has quickly turned into the FF14 fanclub, opinions are hurt when somebody doesnāt love your game, but quick all pile in on hating World of Warcraft.

Honestly, FF14 seem like AION. A korean-japanese-chinese game. As WoW player, iāll never touch that lol. I donāt like the art. For me, MMORPG should not try to aim ārealisticā but to provide fantasy, WoW and Wildstar are perfect example of how good fantasy art can be.
And we all know Asmon will go back to Classic or Retail tomorrow. Itās not like FF14 is new lol, itās an old game, and It never had the success of World Of Warcraft for good reason.

If you base your wow experience around a 30 year old streamer with autism im afraid you thatās not what the developers had in mind making the game.

You are just writing random bullcrap which makes really no sense. None here hates wow, especially the actual, real, original wow. We left our lives behind and came back to play it in classic. But it is more and more clear every day that the new Actilizzard- or Bobbylizzard, whichever you might prefer, can not deliver us a quality, satisfying experience. That is why the initial idea was nochanges, not because the game was perfect, but because we all knew how incompetent and clueless the new Blizzard is about game development.
So I had really good fun in vanilla classic, despite all its flaws, it was massive enjoyment. But whenever Bobby put his nose into this game with starting to change the game, aka āsomechangesā, all the enjoyment started to vanish once again.
All we get again is shortcuts, level boosts, easy solutions, bandaid fixes, instant gratification, convenience features, quality of life improvements, store mounts etc. Since they have absolutely no game developers or brain force in that company, they started catering to random monkeys QQing on social media and changing the game left and right.
You wonāt get any of what Iām saying, but some will do. We love World of Warcraft, we spent our younghood in it, thatās exactly why we are looking to quit. Because when you love something then see it in absolute shambles, it hurts.
Ugly creatures? Forsaken, trolls, orcs?
Catgirls? How about panda girls and furry fox girls and cow girls? - Well, tbf, I donāt like that Miāqote race either. But it is just one negative, and if the gameplay is good elsewhere, I can accept some negatives to a game.

Maybe its because that horseteethman earns enough money to buy your entire neighborhood in 1 week. And he has more subscribers than all other wow related people by himself. I donāt say I adore him, but definitely people care about that horseteethman million times more than they care about a random nobody talking crap about him on eu forums.
He also has 150-200k regular viewers on twitch, which will make wow one of the least streamed games after all, so I think Bobby and his friends will care about him too.
I think the difference is that FF 14 has become better with each expansion and didnāt lose its core community like wow did with garbage expansions. At least that is what I have read from reviews and what I saw from video reviews of the game, when I did a little research before buying it tonight.

If you manage to endure the 1-50, then the game just gets tons betterā¦ i dont even know why they have not deleted the 1-50 yetā¦

Because you miss out on the story then. FF is a very different mmo from wow and that story is actually the main focus.

I just played for 1 hour or so and some quests were annoying at the very start then its really good.
Level 5 and even at this level its enjoyable.

I have played ff since its very beginning for years. Even now i log twice a week for our savage raid. The game is gorgeous but the level 1-50 gives false impression to new playersā¦ it does not make the game any justiceā¦ combat, dungeons and story at 1-50 is just very bad compared to post 50.

Well that doesnāt sound too good, I woulndāt play WoW, if I disliked the leveling process. Well now because the mage boosting isnāt still nerfed, I donāt like it now, but generally I do. Progressing through zones and going to different instances.
I think one really bad thing about it was the music. Some random xylephone running up and down on major gammes.
So the worst part is the first 30 minutes. After that it keeps getting better. First impression.
I dont dislike it, is just not as food as post 50. Post 50 the game just skyrocket, both from story perspective and dungeons quality.
Even in graphics. 1-50 zones were supporting ps3ā¦ then they stopped supporting both ps3 and dx9 and new zones are much better too (and dungeons and raida of course). Seems like a different game post 50
