Do you really have to ask what the biggest WoW twitch streamer straming one of the biggest competitors in front of a 150k+ audience has to do with WoW and Blizzard? Are you really that naive?

Not only him, many big content creators changed to FF14 recently.
Blizzard managed to do the killing blow on classic finally I think.
The new big MMO is FF14, its inevitable.

I try as well to play but for some reasons I could not access my account even after I reset the password. Very wierd so I give up. But I sent today a ticket see if they can help me really curious to try this game
And Square Enix made some paid marketing with them and Twitch. If someone backs one of listed WoW-but-now-FF14 streamers the get a unique fun mount in FF14 
Endwalker in November while New World in-between. Ashes of Creation in the upcoming year/s.
I tried ffxiv, it was trash, and some of the char models are just creepy.

It’s over. The mass exodus has begun. No longer can blizzard sit there complacent like they’ve been for years and years.
Hopefully they realise they need to get their **** together ASAP and stop with the dumb changes like same faction BGs. Same with Retail, that game is in freefall and 9.1 is already dead lmao.

Well the thread starter was talking about alliance only.
I didn’t like it either, probably didn’t play it enough, but it was boring, maybe because I don’t play for the story and was just skipping all dialogue as I do in WoW also.

did you see the video of mythic raider that swapped to ff14 and is enjoying ultima raiding?
Bobby and his activision crew always saw MMOs as a burden on their backs so they will be ok with wow + wow classic dying out imo.
The only sad side of the story is the Blizzard devs that worked for wow classic and didn’t have the nuts to resist the orders that came from their corporate overlords in Activision. Once wow + classic is dead, they will get laid off like thousands of others and will be unemployed looking to get a position desperately in another studio.
Kaplan, Gonzalez and many others saw this coming a while ago and quit. Those who are still in kept killing the game with their stupid decisions. I won’t have any sympathy for them tbf.

Yeah, but it’s all instanced.
FFXIV is honestly really good, but you need to know that it takes a while to actually to get to max level due to the main scenario being very long ;p

You could try asking the hordes claiming they would switch to FF14 because they couldn’t play the game before blizzard announced the same faction bg’s…

Isn’t it obvious enough? He problably got into Ul’Dah, got lost and figured the game was bad.
Should be mentioned also that they did a MASSIVE revamp of the main scenario from A realm reborn and removed a lot of filler quests. So there’s a lot fewer quests than there used to be, and more relevant as well.
All in all though, I have to say FF14 has more pros than cons to it. I especially love that you don’t have to level alts, as you can level every job on one character.
