Aspect of Chameleon, why?!

Seems the Hunter forum is “dead” right now. I wanna talk about something I usually don’t care about lol

I still can’t figure out what to do with the current Aspect of Chameleon. Do you use? in what situation would you use it?

Why it isn’t a base spell in the first place. Should it need a rework to be more useful as the other aspects?

Aspect of the what? I have to check my spellbook, I’m pretty sure its not on my bars because I dont even remember. I guess it makes us untrackable…

 this is why I asked this :

You get it from a tome, like the taming tomes. But I just don’t find a reason to use it whether in PVP or PVE

It says that, but I’m always getting the aggro when I click at it and walk by mobs. or idk what am I missing tbh

It just makes you untrackable. Aka enemy players can’t see you on the minimap.

Because I am a sort of “completionist” I got all spells I could from tomes, including AoC. At the beginning I just had it by itself on my “low priority spell bar”, but after a while I just made a macro to cast AoC at the same time I cast Cammo. They both have the same duration, and AoC is off the GCD.

Is it extremely useful? Not really, but it just makes me more sneaky than I would normally be, while using Cammo.

It’s been said here but the exact thing is.
It prevents you from being targeted by track humanoids from hunters or feral druids.

Pretty handy, but kinda weird.

or if you want to approach a spot and use camo at the very last time.

Never heard of this aspect, now i will get it asap.
I wonder also…it works for hunters/druids tracking abilities…what about other spec like rogue “Vendetta”? Any other ability it could work against?

Yes, that is the idea. It hides you from any kind of tracking in the mini-map.
