This will be a quick summary of my 1v1 encounter vs a dracthyr healer in warmode today.
I have Battlemaster and 88k+ HKs on this rogue so I am not exactly new to this.
Noteworthy abilities that I used:
Sprint 4/5x
Nitro boots 2x
Goblin glider 2x
Shadowstep with two charges on CD
Shiv for slow
Shiv with hemotoxin for 35% reduction to healing received
System shock
Wound poison
Crippling poison
I spent a good 5min chasing him across the Ohn’ahran Plains, unable to bring him under 40%. Despite the aforementioned list of things aimed to reduce his movement speed or healing received I spent the entire fight chasing him and half the fight OUT OF RANGE.
It felt like nothing would slow this guy down. All my slowing capabilities were rendered completely USELESS. Wound poison was useless, crippling - useless, Shiv with crippling - useless. System Shock for 90% speed red. - useless.
And best part is he wasn’t even casting. The only noteworthy spell he casted was a damage spell when he managed to get far enough one time.
If this is the direction the game is heading at, I demand rogues get Burst of Speed back.
I have no problems getting them down, to be honest,
once you set your bleeds on them, duplicate and exsanguinate all of it in a shiv stun, then repeat, especially in Wpvp where it s you and him, try using Deadly, Wound, Cripling, and Mindnumbing. He will use one major cd where he goes back a few seconds or something and removes everything but the raw pressure of your assa build should still down him. maybe you use all those space closers without a stun on cd or something. I don t mean to sound negative or anything use maneuverability talent before going in on him
Their base dispel removes poisons and they can also dispel bleeds via their class talent tree (Cauterize Wounds, 1 min cd, also heals a for a good amount), making them one of the best healers against assa rogue, not to mention that their heals heal for a lot and can be duplicated (Echo)
