This has happened multiple times now where I’ll get a notification that someone is marked as assassin on map, but when I open map there’s nobody there.
The map’s bounty icon might be beneath a wq icon. Or they hearthed/exited wow real quick. Or got insta killed for bounty. Guessing.
Jumping shard via party invites is another way people go about realm hopping to avoid dying as bounty.
Should make it so you can’t change shard if you have the bounty. Shard jumping in pvp is just silly in general and so many are using it. Engaging a fight in pvp, and if they are losing they just phase away into safety…
Ye I just had this. When zoomed out on map can’t see it. When zoom in on map, can see it. The bounty was under the quest icon on map. When zoomed in, the bounty icon moves away from the quest icon.
