At least bring back recolor artifact transmogs for Mage Tower?

It really bugs me that I can’t get the best transmogs in the game at all. I started playing with BFA and have been playing ever since. Since I didn’t start this game 1 year earlier, I can’t have the skins. This is an mmorpg and this approach doesn’t feel right to me. If I put in a certain amount of effort and time, I should be able to achieve anything I want. Even if it takes years.

I completed Shadowlands Mage Tower with 7 different classes and managed to get the mount. I would do the same thing if I played Legion. I want to play demon hunter main, but no transmog set looks good to me just because I don’t have those hidden warglavies. Something is always missing and it discourages me from playing.

There are a lot of players like me who want to get those transmogs more than anything. Please don’t ignore us. I respect the friends who managed to get them on time and their efforts. Please do not shy away from the idea of bringing their new colors, at least for us. We’ve been waiting for years for them to bring it back one day. I think no one would object if the mage tower rewards were updated with The War Within, new rewards were added, and even if you did not bring the old ones, at least the re-color versions were given as rewards.

Gatekeeping is fine.
We all do it in real life, there’s no reason not to do it in video games as well.

I understand that they don’t want to be given their old transmogs again, it bothers them but I don’t understand why they are against their new colors or new designs, or why they are toxic to anyone who raises this issue.

On the one hand I really don’t care if they bring every single thing back and make it available in game. The prestige of those sets has been and gone.

On the other hand it’s such a small portion of things that are no longer available I don’t think it matters that much.

They should at least make the disco feral druid forms available from the new mage tower.

With the Warband coming, I’m pretty sure it will become a recurrent topic soon enough. Transmog farming will be faster and then people will start to ask for removed sets like these & Elite arena sets.

I personally don’t care, I think putting them back with the same level of difficulty (same color) should be a done thing already, it would provide an extended gameplay time for a lot of players and sincerely if anybody is bothered by this, I don’t know what to say except go buy a Ferrari / Rolex IRL if you need an ego boost.

The Mage Tower from back in the day was made easier over time being able to outgear it. That isn’t the case now.

It was something everyone could attempt in the end.

I didn’t play in Legion but I believe you, it was the same for the challenge set in Mop. The main problem that people will point out is that it’s not available anymore :smiley:
