At least make "Bolstering" Dispellable

You say this like bolstering is a challenge, it is not. It literally just slows down the dungeon arbitrarily by forcing you to pull small, and also preventing you from pulling trash with boss, which the latter actually poses a challenge as you need to deal with boss mechanics + the trash you brought it at the same time, rewarding skill and proper cd management with lower time on the key.

Enrage is dispellable by druids, and many other abilities are purgeable/dispellable. It’s just a boring affix that adds no depth to M+, it does the opposite.

You could argue it’s a challenge because you can time every mob to die relatively at the same time, but then you realise this is unrealistic because you’re one corruption proc away from messing up everything, and in a dungeon with bad graveyard updates I.e King’s rest and Shrine of the Storm then it just ruins the whole key.

Certain affixes need to be revamped, such as bolstering. Gladly some work is being done in shadowlands as grievous is now changed, reducing one stack per non periodic heal and bursting is a dispellable affix. Bolstering is another that needs work.

If we’re looking at MDI, where every player was able to make the decision solely based on how strong they are for M+? They’ve been up top. Remember Reaping Season? Iirc 90% of teams played full nightelves. It’s less bad due to Awakend allowing skips that before were only possible with a rogue or nightelf, but a seasonal affix won’t change the fact that nightelves are the strongest m+ class.

How are you making speculations without knowing that?

It’s difficult to say, I can’t say for certain that it isn’t, but I can say for certain that people don’t racechange due to m+ alone.

Or does every alliance tank nowadays play dwarf because there’s necrotic every 6th week?

If a change such as that would become “another nail in the coffin” for alliance, it would be due to many other reasons before bloodelves being better in 3 out of 12 weeks for m+.

People transfer to horde from alliance due to recruitment being much easier, as well as generally more active PvE players. If people would pick their faction solely on potential regarding whatever content they play, there’d be a permanent switch between factions and races, depending on what mechanics the final boss brings.

G’huun? Goblins, Gnomes and Void Elves.

Jaina? Troll or whatever race on alliance side turns into trolls during the Jaina fight.

Uu’nat? Dwarf tanks and dwarf shamans.

Azshara? Void elves.

N’zoth? Idk really, that boss was garbage and had nothing noteworthy that could’ve been outplayed by racials, or at all. Probably void elves again because blink is stupid?

You may believe that people autoswitch to whatever fotm race or class there is currently, but in truth, only very very few people do and those who do usually aren’t even influential enough to make that trickle down concept possible.

imagine on bolstering weeks, everyone would want a priest healer, pull half the dungeon, then just mass dispel and poof the entire affix is negated

And I believe arcane torrent removing 1 stack of bolstering off of each mob on a 2 minute CD wouldn’t be as bad as you believe it would be.

But since it’s not going to happen, there’s really no point in arguing about it, you believe your things and I believe mine, everybody is happy.

I did, you’re saying that soothe has 2 more seconds cd than dispel. Dispel has no cd. Soothe has 10 seconds cd.
