How is your week in keys? Do you also have groups were mainly dps wont help you with affix dispells or only dispell themselfes and then there is this one last debuff that heals the boss for like 10%?
Isnt it crazy when you call for help, they only say i dispell myself. But what they should do is it dispell on cd and help the group.
this affix is anti fun to play as a healer especially shaman because some still think the solution for this affix is toxic totem. i think they didn’t get the memo that its nerfed and mostly usless.
I have more of a problem with people not dispelling poisons than dispelling the affix, I can handle the affix on my own most of the time but I can’t dispel poisons.

My experience was mostly:
People take shaman - > Affix → I dispel 3 → The other 2 go off cause shaman is 404.
Instead you get: “Huh, the boss healed?!”, while having 3/5 in the party who can dispel…(and 5/5 who can self-heal OR dispel).
When mentioning it, you just get the response “I usually don’t focus on it”. Great.

I think part of the problem is that it doesnt show up as a dispel on the frames but a healing absorb. Many probably dont even notice its up.

Every time it happens they literally shout out something related to darkness? That’s quite a good indicator of the affix happening.
But yeah, it is annoying that it only shows as healing absorb.
I see it on the debuffs in elvui.
I dont, but thats maybe part of my settings.
Yeah i dont have any issues with noticing it myself, but i can imagine some ppl play without sounds or are just tunnel visioning on their dps and so on. I installed a wa that counts down the time for when it next happens to not have my totem on cd for it (before they nerfed it though).
I’ve always dispelled myself but decursive finally updated so I can just dispel it with my addon now.
I havent played this week so maybe it shows up as a proper debuff now

well yes in standard frame its pretty bad displayed and maybe they dont notice
