You can’t type black in most latin speaking languages across most American games period. In fact, even just something similar like the river itself or country where said word originates from or run in Japanese can trigger it in some games.
All word filters are biased in the end.

We see that with the forums too. Some words we just can’t use and to EU users it has no meaning. I usually end up on google to figure out what it means.
Try the word prick which means dot in Nordic languages but something else entirely in swamp German (Prik) which bled into the American language where people don’t even know its meaning or origin for that matter.

Has a variety of meanings in English, is both an actual word and slang.
Thank you for testing! Still curious what else may be on ‘the list’ as this one, as said before, is not nice but definitely not something I’d report. Wondering what else not-so-nice may apparently now be reportable.
It feels a bit weird to say this but I think people should be able to be douchebags up to a point. Otherwise you risk making chat sterile or simply empty, I have my doubts that is actually an improvement. And if people want to snark, they’ll still be able to, in a horribly passive-aggressive way. I dislike that more if I have to choose 
Maybe people will report back as they discover more triggers.
I am also curious what else is included.
The trinket is besides the point here. But since gold is tradeable between realms now. I was trying to offer the guy 20k gold for the trinket. Seeing as he didn’t have a raidteam I figured he would be a prime candidate to need the gold more than the upgrade.

You should add another 0 to that sum. Normal trinkets go for 100-300k.

And In a thread about chat report abuse , we have a Post that is flagged and reported for absolutely nothing , because what exactly ? Madness .
I’m talking about post 46 , which reads :
"nice straw man. where did i say it stops people reporting abuse?

how does it make it more likely anything will be done?"

What exactly was offending in that post other than not agreeing with someone ? Or you can now be silenced for having different opinion . Chances are even my post will get “flagged” now .

and heaven forbid i post something that shows support for ukraine again.
it is not very surprising unfortunately. when exceptionally smart people like myself or him share our wisdom it causes fear in those who do not understand. and frightened people try to hide or destroy that which causes the discomfort. of course this does not mean we should stop trying to make our brilliance heard but we should try to adapt and use our words differently so they get through.

Even if it too could be abused .

That’s not the issue at all.
Players are taking advantage of a report/flagging system that’s WAY too strict. They are using it now to troll, grief or get revenge for not getting the response they wanted.
I myself hardly ever talk anymore unless someone seems actually friendly - and even then you’re taking a risk.
I don’t respond to people asking me for a drop, because simply telling them ‘no, I need it’, could get you reported/silenced or worse.
This ‘toxicity shield’ is actually making the game even less social.

spot on. Back in legion if a player got nameflagged he would be instakicked and forced to change names no matter what he was doing. People were abusing this in RBGs getting everyone to report the enemy flagcarrier. If its abuseable people will use it to get an advantage. Or use it with petty behaviour. Anything that enables online Karen’s should be abolished immediatly.
