sorry but classic is already full of toxicity and it has no rdf…
this logic doesnt hold up, rdf doesnt create toxic people, they were already toxic before you grouped up

I never met a TOXIC person on retail that would somehow ruin the game for me
But i met tons of weird people right now on wotlk pre patch during leveling laughing while stealing mobs and quests items

Depends, i’ve met more non-toxic than toxic, keep in mind we’re in hype time atm, in 1-2 months time it will be much more diferent with WoTLk progressing forward.
Everyone and their brother/sister is playing at the moment with launch coming soon.

so there is not gonna be much toxicity runing around
You just have to reach Phase 1 content to find more nice people, most people play to see content then leave or go back to Retail.
New Retail Expansion coming out in December too so alot of people will get ready for that between October-December.

Doesn’t need to be like Mythic or Mythic+ just needs to be diferent ^^
But there is something positive about it
- it’s gonna still be a cakewalk aoe fiesta but it will took longer to kill
- It’s not gonna be a timed run it’s just Wotlk hc dungeon with harder enemies
And still most of the time the search for tank and healer is the biggest problem because they consider it not worth their time.
how long before runs of these + dungeons are sold?
i just find it funny that folks hate rdf becuase its ‘retail’ and now they’re adding retail anyways

Sounds like to me that you are creating problems in your head where in fact there are no problems in reality
Its still a full retail feature. Its not M+ (timed) but normal mythic dungeons. They are fusing retail and wotlk right now, while removing original wotlk features because they think those are too close to retail. Their reasoning is not consistent and doesnt match the idea of classic expansions at all.
Im not against changes for a season of mastery realm, but this should be a classic experience, close to the original one. Now we get a watered down retail version with a “classic” label.

you seems to be missing the point of that change. its purpose is to get those tanks and healers to run dungeons instead of farming mounts, pets and consumes. thereby putting more tanks and healers INTO the dungeon pool, so more DPS can actually farm the gear they want / need
what would you rather??
- wait 2 hours for a single dungeon due to a lack of tank and/or healer.
or - get dungeon way faster, but letting the tank and healer get something that doesnt matter for their “player power” (except consumables)
yes for someone that spends time farming mats for pots. to sell on AH they will have a smaller market, and more competetion.
seems to me that more people benifits from this change. since the market for botters and gold sellers gets smaller, more people gets to actually play the game instead of waiting around in dalaran. and the achievemnt hunters / completionists gets another way to get that stuff

You think people who have farmed hundreds of runs to get these mounts should just sit back and be happy that because someone tanks a dungeon they can get it in a shiny box at the end?
The point of these mounts is exclusivity through effort. Now they’re meaningless.

i think the chance is so insanely small its ok, nobody is getting a rare mount for doing a few runs
but i get your point, then again this was already a second go after the original x years ago…

But they are effort. It is sure not being more then a 1% from it. So instead of running the same dungeon over and over again they are instead tanking/healing over and over and over again. So the Tanks and Heals are happy because they get a rare mount from doing mindless dungeons and maybe helping out and the dds are happy cause they get their dungeon. Win Win situation.
