Edit: Got some traction on this. I want to clarify that the loot changes and ‘heroic plus’ makes sense and it IS a good change. That being said, it’s no longer classic and this is a VERY slippery slope. These are fundamental changes to the games systems - what else is coming next?
The tank and healer bonus rewards though? No that’s silly.

I am thinking though, with this new Healer and Tank reward system, are they about to announce RDF?
The system was technically in place on the beta (or is I guess) where it rewards tanks/healers based on… who the hell knows at this point.
Who says everything has to be the same as Retail? it might even spark more interest.
I’m actually looking forward to that new dungeon system that rewards tanks/healers with mounts/pets, might aswell do those dungeons instead of farming those mounts or pets? seems legit
It’s literally a copy/paste of the reward system from Cataclysm, just tied in with a new system that lacks any kind of transparency.
At least with the RDF Cataclysm reward you knew who got the reward. Who the hell knows with this system.

Lmao, you still trust Blizzard to do this right after the abomination that is the LFG system created specifically for Wrath Classic? Good lord.
As a fellow game dev, the current LFG tool looks like the idea of someone high up in ranks, and the people were afraid to stand against it.
I strongly oppose bonus loot of tanks and healers, they already benefit from getting easier groups, there’s no need for an extra reward on top.
I am not too bothered by the raid loot change, when ulduar is out, except for catching up with new characters, naxx 10man gear won’t matter so who cares if you can do a harder 5man heroic and get that loot.
That is exactly what it looks like to me too.

Who says Classic has to be the same as Retail? might be more interesting this way, i share the same fear as you but we haven’t reached that point, we don’t know yet what good or bad will come out of this.
But for me it sounds better doing high level stuff to farm gear or mounts or pets than running old content, also u can do it with friends while in dungeons.

Listened back to the IV. They have built a new algorithm. So no RDF.
I personally don’t need RDF for end game content that was never my problem i’m used to it from retail making groups.
It would be nice but i’m not gonna struggle to play wotlk endgame
What i have problem with is leveling from 15 to 80 is kinda toxic
and rdf would fix that for my main and for my alts also
yes problem is RDF will kill social interaction that’s what they’re focused on i think.
I totally prefer no RDF so people communicate and don’t be as toxic as in Retail.
