i am starting to get tired of people who has like +100k gold maybe even botting auction house
meanwhile me just trying to get for a epic mount
you can put anything high demand item in the auction
like potions/flask on raid times or reset day
too bad its instant undercutted by some bank alt x100 and not enough people buying it
and it gets so much undercutted it just become unprofittable to sell ANY craftables at all
like if i compare to Classic era and SOD
i was able to earn like 500g before lvl 30 on a fresh character via some early level alch stuff like the running speed potion and Fap potion
on SOD: mats costs like 5g to make it but to sell it it is kept undercutted down to like 1g to sell each
even with the proc it is very unprofitable
and it is like this across every single craftable item like this
has really became impossible to earn any gold
i farmed some herb(high demand ones even)
put them on AH for low price while they was already lower than average
sold 0 of them in 24 hours
only to see even more people undercutted it and crashing the price even more
do people use auction house to buy stuff from anyone
is this the result of easier leveling up alts. so all wow accounts is able to get all professions basically?
becuase feels like no one is using auction house to buy stuff from anymore
and it has honestly being like this since phase2 but now we need like +800g for mount and the tier0.5 questline is also huge on gold
and the best way i found to get the most gold/hour has being ZF zombie AOE farming and just raw gold and vendor sell stuff from it
becuase again no one is buying stuff from auction house anymore just only selling
blizzard we need to have more demand on buying stuff from auction house even for people who has 1 of each profession on theirs account
becuase this feels like the reason people is only selling stuff but never buying stuff
feels like the only way i can sell a item is to be lucky i have the lowest priced item(still in a profit range but thats kinda rare now) at the same moment as someone needs that item (that is also rare now)
feels like a lottery over a economy in a MMORPG in order to make gold now
Degenerate wow addicts have hoarded materials in preparation for p4 because there was nothing else to do for months, also u need less materials to make stuff because of the higher crafting proc rates.
i would say this was the case
but this what i talk about was already a issue early on in phase2
there has being times where i have needed to set a item into Auction house enough times so the fees ends up costing so much i would have gotten more gold from just vendor a craftable items and get more gold back from that loss
legit feels like the only gold i have earned in most of SOD has being from raw gold and nothing else becuase of this issue i talk about
On crusaderstrike alliance is 1 or multiple guy sitting 24 hours, im not kidding, He is there day and night to undercut you
Tip if you dont have a big capital.
Scan the market, and check who is dominating each area - usually it is 2- 4 people that dominate each material - during the morning some of them will try to up the prices (your best time to sell is during that period, do not undercut them - set the same price).
If theres a big dumping battle on a material - dont engage in it, simply hold on to your material and sell it once it is stable (I.E not when theres 4-7 people with an insane amount undercutting each other constantly).
At some point you will have enough money to invest in materiasl&alts, thats when the big money comes. But before that you kind of stick to the above.

this is specific SOD and i have a idea it might becuase of the extra XP we get so it is easier to level up a alt for more professions so you wont need auction house as much
atleast the part with not enough demand on auction house compare to how many who sell stuff
also not many people buying dungeon boost and that has also gotten nerfed becuase of what blizzard has done
people dont really give much gold to mage portals
meanwhile warlocks summon services getting inflated for doing the same job and somehow no one is undercutting each other there
all just agree from 1g to 2g to 5g to 10g
while people only give 1-2g for mage portal (that btw cost a rune of portal that cost like 20s while warlock´s thing is free to do)
legit the only way i have earned gold in phase4 was ZF aoe farming but its kinda slow af and only raw gold becuase looks like i cannot rely on Auction house with this issue

If you ask me the problem is - its too easy making a lot of materials. even people asking for it become easier on these forums and destroying the economy / AH.
Blizzard need to revist some changes that where implemented in P3.
Imagine if alchemy didnt share CD´s on transmog, do you know how much gold those people would make - your chances of selling anything would be 0. This would literally be the gold sellers dream and some stupid forum trolls.
i want professions nerfed
i want it so you cannot have all professions on a account
becuase of it has become easier to level up alts. to be able to get each professions
i also want a somewhat rework of AH becuase those people who camp AH and might botting it
and instant undercut everything no matter time and item

there need to be something agains them
so normal people is able to sell items again

whenever i myself undercut them to a price where i know its not profittable but they still undercut me
Same, on LW Horde its gold sellers using scripts. They´ve realized that making bots to grind raw gold is nothing compared to having an account with max alts on alchemy pumping out these materials.
Theres another thread were some forum people are even asking to remove Alchemy shared CD on transmog, like how dumb can you get.
i feel like there need to be bigger Auction house fees on people who spam auction house
also no not remove that cooldown
only remove it if the game can fix other issues about gold making & etc.
removing that cooldown will just make this issue alot worst becuase RN making Arcanite Bar & mooncloth on tailor

Pretty much, I think rare materials need to become alot more rare. Scripted AH needs to be battled too.
and people who has all professions in 1 account
also needs to be nerfed in some way or a other
becuase why buy like a flask or 2 for the raid
if you just can log on to your herb char farm abit for the flask
then log on to your alch(if not same char.) craft that flask
now you got it for free
while you might have like tailor+ench on the char. you needed the flask on
now less people buying them from AH
and now its basically being unprofittable(even on raid days and reset days) to sell them all of phase4

idk maybe it’s because my server is low pop but i made something like 4k gold in 10-12h farm with alchemist 
also all the bot are mostly on alliance side like always.
also no wonder your mats are worth nothing if you’re on crusader strike alliance , there’s so much hunt bot farming plants in azashara , i keep kelling/reporting them but i need help
If this is true that there is a loss with the prices they make then these rich people do their magic not for profit… they just enjoy the suffering of other people.

I have the same problem with wizard oil… if i buy the mats when prices are high, and with bad luck it takes 3 days to sell and prices drop then there is merely a profit. But never have i seen that it was a negative outcome.
The “trick” against that undercutting scheme is that you pick only 2 hours listing for lower costs.
And you put like only the amount at once that 2-3 people would buy.
Not 6x5stacks flasks at once for 24h, i would go like 6 single pieces for 2h. Then 15 min later if there is undercut or already sold then another 6 single for 2h
farm stuff that sells near instantly. theres still some nice gold making to be had, if you know what to farm or where to farm. i dont make a fortune. as long as i can make enough gold to cover my raids consumes cost a week im happy.
