Auction House Bots (Possible)

Hello,

Whenever I put an item on AH, a specific person puts the same item in seconds away and undercuts my item. When I cancel and put it back again, they do the same. Put the same item on AH in less than 10 seconds.

That’s not the problem, anyone could do that. The problem is when I search for that name they can not be found online, so how can they do it ? I know we could manage our auctions on mobile app or web client back then but as far as I know it’s not possible anymore (or could I be wrong ?)

And does reporting suspicious players really works ? Does GM’s take a look their actions or they just ‘meh’ ?

If you play on alliance he is probably horde.

So is this legal ?

Also, how can they do it by not being near any AH, let alone being not online ?

The person could be on the opposite faction, we all use the same AH.

It a mobile AH.

I’m a goblin and that person is vulpera. Just to be sure, I just made an alliance toon to search for them and they still can’t be found online but they just undercut my auctions.

That seems strange, try adding the person as a friend. If you play on a connected realm you need to add - (realm) to the name. No one should be able to post actions off line.

@Mirãge: We are not able to /who people below level 20 and even at 20+ the /who does strange things with regards to warmode settings. As others have noted, to verify that someone is online, you need to be of same faction and have that specific name (including realm, if needed) as friend.

That was going to be my next thing, not to mention /who is notoriously unreliable atm.

Thanks Trelw

If it’s someone’s AH alt on a second account, they are likely just sat somewhere on a long boi.

May I ask what it is you are listing?

They should implement some sort of CD for posting same items in AH .
It’s impossible to sell anything these days as those wallstreet wannabe’s are re-posting all time pushing you down .

Way more annoying than multiboxer farmers if you ask me.

They are doing both.

10 in world gathering, pop open that mobile guild bank to deposit stuff, and the other account parked at the ah does the selling/sniping.

Shadowghast Ring and Necklace.

Now it all makes sense but that sniping addon doesn’t looks fair. They can automate whatever they want and stay AFK for a long time. Doesn’t that makes them bot ?

Yes and no.

I believe blizzard choose to ignore it or just don’t care enough about it to take action tbh.

I myself have only used auctionator and that’s to buy not sell.

I’d like to see addons that make it that easy to snipe banned… but so many use them there would be an uproar if they did.

That is false, you have to manually approve every posting and cancelling.

Hi there, I’m a trader as well, I trade on multiple realms, I also trade Shadowghast Rings and it’s just TSM, you need to know how to use it!

TSM is the most useful addon for trading, you can post 80 auctions in a minute, there will be delay if you cancel too much but it’s so much easier than doing it manually.

There are many guides online how to do it, you should never post manually unless you are posting from 1 to 6 different types of items but that’s the it.

and on my realm theres the same herb druid bots pack from bastion
sometime infront of the ah npc in org
gibberish names green gear for level 45 and are 60

if you see them in SL zones dont hesitate to /spit on em
btw sniping on someone elses bid on a tmog tier piece on BMAH=bad

Urgh
