Hello. When you invest in a profession, you demand profit. It’s natural. But when someone constantly undercuts you, you realize something is wrong. So you keep continue but they come with 5 more accounts. And they make you forfeit. These are not people who plays this game, these are actual botters. Ofcourse gold=money for them so it’s some kinda job for them. I have been reporting those people since Shadowlands. They are mostly hanging in Stranglethorn Valley Booty Bay Auctioneer O’reely, Shrine(Ally/horde) in Pandaria. 30 achievment points , weird symbols in their nicks or old multiboxers with 1-7k achievment mostly with no transmog at all. Their main characters are hanging in Garrison Hall in Draenor to not get reported.
Ofcourse I made a ticket and response is:
’'Botting in online gaming is not an easy topic and never was an easy one to talk about. While Customer Service team can only deal with reports of cheating players sent through the in-game reporting features by other players, I can assure you, our developers do what is humanly possible to devise new scripts that would actively seek out players using botting services.
It might be hard to notice this from the other side as for every account closed for botting, new ones can be created almost immediately. It all boils down to the demand… if our players would stop purchasing gold and services from botters, botters would not be able to continue this trend for much longer.’’
Customer Service has reponded very kindly but those bots were here maybe even before Shadowlands but I have countered much more bots in Shadowlands than in any other expansions.
I have reported huge amount of them and they actually get banned. I’m making a collection from Blizzard '‘thank you’'s in my mail. But I can’t stay in Booty Bay/Shrine and track those hackers all day. They must have gatherers>crafters>sellers>gold accounts. They are operating in every realm and they are not making people sell anything. Blizzard should execute a ban wave.
