Herbs and cloths are being sold and bought at insane speeds (obviously bots or scripts) for insanely low prices the whole day.
You cannot buy anything but you can sell them dirt cheap.
Every auction you make involving these items get instantly bought and re-dropped into this abyss of gold making.
Well done Blizzard indie company for allowing these fellas to operate for at least a month now.
Imagine paying a subscription to a game that every schmuck with a simple script can destroy the entire economy.

Prices have crashed cause in 3 weeks we have a new expansion, and everyone is unloading useless materials that are gonna be obsolete.
The speed of the auctions is due to materials now being region wide commodities. That means that while you have just the equipment and mounts of your server, the materials you see and buy/sell, are from the whole of EU. The speed is the byproduct of all those people making the transactions.

There seems to be some kind of exploit, for example shrouded cloth is 1 silver right now and i can’t buy any of it, it says auction is no longer available. Similar thing for desolate leather.

Yeah the AH seems broken, tried to buy some cloth but can’t actually buy any for any price as the cheapest is 1 silver and I can’t buy that as it says “No longer available” and it just sits there for 5+ minutes.
I can’t buy the more expensive stuff either as it tries to buy the cheapest bugged stuff.

i dont think its someone exploiting, but just a bug.
there was a similar bug on day one of the region wide AH introduction, but it got fixed pretty fast, they were more alert of it bugging out back then i guess.
keep bumping this thread untill its fixed.

Same happens with ghost iron ore. there are 125 in AH which you can not buy out “no longer available” but you can buy the ore that is put in later, until you reach the 125 ores again that are bugged … I think TSM is really breaking not just our spirit but also the AH

I don’t have any problems on the AH buying or selling but also don’t use any addons.
The condition are nothing to do with bots at all. It when the market changed for matts.
can you buy like 1000 shrouded cloth for 1 silver each then?
do me a favor and buy it all, dont worry youll be able to resell it all for like 50 silver fast.
i just tried to disable all addons, still bugged for me.
I don’t know i don’t want that cloth, i sell more than i buy especially from an army of alts. I am not a big user of the ah, maybe there is problems with big users of it.
I have more gold than i spend so don’t really need more.
But also maybe its the addons that are used to help the big users with all the lua changes recently.
But maybe there are limits on purchases or the speed at which concurrent purchases can happen across players.
I do not use any AH addons at all and can not buy the bugged items like the 125 ghot iron ore at 4.99 though i can buy the ones put in AH later than those bugged ones. so Addons have nothing to do with the messed up AH unless it is the TSM users messing it up
Hmm definitly something weird going on its only been like this since it was opened up across realms ??
Maybe it was never designed to handle so many concurrent users ?

Same issue here. Not using any AH addons and not able to buy Shrouded Cloth because the item isn’t available.

some materials are back to normal.
maybe just because the bugged auctions expired.
cloth is still bugged.
I think it’s an exploit because the “bugged” items aren’t bugged at their normal price, they’re bugged at 1s or now i see marrowroot is 10 times cheaper.
I don’t know which materials went back to normal, because more and more materials get “bugged”, coincidentally at very low prices.
cant prove you wrong. but who knows if theres a bugged cloth auction at 50s, 1gold etc?
leather was bugged at 1g34s, bones at 1g. and feverflare talks about ghost iron at 4g99s.
current lowest price is just the lowest someone was dumb enough to put it on AH for.
but i cant prove my theory either.
1 silver cant buy out even with TSM this is beyond TSM this is BOTS using the wow app im 100% sure
The 1s is correct. It just happens that your whole region has access to said price AND ITEM meaning it’s gone in milliseconds.

A nice change by blizz to stop people who use TSM or similar because if it gets posted and sells instantly you have no way to controlling anything but your salt intake.

Been offering my in Trade Channel but nobody wants to buy my Shrouded Cloth and Leather. Hence folks drop on the AH.
The drop in price was because of region wide commodities and the infrastructure can not keep up with the volume of transactions.
There are a number of bugs in the auction house and a number of additional bugs in the api, compounding the volume of transactions issues.
As somebody that enjoyed crafting and buying and selling on the AH all these changes have been detrimental
