Auction House Mount

Hey! (This is for a GameMaster)

Because some of us had a break during the months the Auction House mount was available and never got the chance to buy it, even tho we’ve been playing the game on and off for 15 something years as a faithful subscriber, we can never get one exept on the BMAH?
Will you ever throw it in the in-game shop for $300 something so that the rest of us atleast have the option?
I understand that its still available on the BMAH but those numbers are just unreasonable, and some website sells it for $999 but i can only assume that thats illegal and really not an option.
So now im making a topic to get this cleared once and for all, are we never gna get a chance to get this badboy?
Thank you in advance <3

They pretty much said already he wont come back , only way is bmah .

But they also said no mage tower ever again and here we are, with different rewards but still, so maybe there is chance for different AH mount .

Also all this " i play for 15 years but didnt play at that time because of stuff" is all kinda weird excuse i missed so many things because i didnt play at the time or i simply played different content , and milions other with me , yet there are things simply lost in past.

Well in bfa it was basically a mount for irl money 500$ in tokens

you can buy it from the BMAH

Only Community Managers read the forums, sorry! :pensive:

…and this did happen, so with enough voices - with most of them overseas, I’d wager - it might come back, just the same.

Look at the yak, which wasn’t removed after MoP. I could ride down to Townlong Steppes and grab a second one even as I write this post.

I don’t see the point why the longboy was removed - 5 grand is a LOT of money. Even if gold is so easy to come by, while you can reliably get 5k from a couple old raids, there isn’t a fixed, repeatable method that will get you easily to 5 million babies. Most of those, from what I heard, often rely on a sort of exploit that’s quickly fixed, or require you to get very lucky with a wanted, but very rare drop, or gets nerfed shortly after being exposed on the internet while being legal.

Say, a good raw money farming spot during BfA was Skyreach, a 6 min dungeon that got you 500 bucks for a full clear. 10 runs (the hourly cap) got you 5k. But vendor value was nerfed with SL’s prepatch.

The expansion does have a sort of money-printer, but it requires alts - the command table. That however, requires you to keep your anima up on many toons while you spam the gold rewarding missions to make a steady, but slow income over a long time. Ancelyn told me she got her cash that way over the past year.

Long story short, OP - the dinosaur might come back, or might not. Even if it does, prepare for quite a grind if you don’t swim in money. Hope I could help!

by your logic …
i was on break during MOP/WOD
blizzard i’m your faithful player
pls give me MOP/WOD CM tmog pls pls pls pls

Not the same thing.

Challenge modes were intended to be a seasonal thing.

Mounts on a vendor were not.

Sorry but you had 2 years to get it
there is no excuse for not having it
…no one cares that you had BREAK during BFA

You can just use your main character to send anima to your alts. I don’t even know how many 100ks of anima I have sitting around on my characters.

I notice a bit of red on you as well

That’s an interesting way of writing “years”.

I know a few people who fully tokened it but I think most just try to grind some of the gold.

Honestly I can not think of a reason for why they removed it other than wanting people to buy tokens during BfA.

Other expensive mounts that offer no utility like the Bloodfang spider still exist in the game right now. It just feels bad that new players will have to pray to the RNG gods on top of having a gold cap in order to obtain such a quality of life feature.

I also agree that the removal of the mount from a vendor has removed a reasonable goal for many players that kept them engaged with the game through gold farming activities.

It was very underhanded not to make the information public at the start of the expansion, that they intended to remove it.

Caught a lot of people out, who thought they could just farm it later.

I don’t care if they return it, as long as it costs at least what it did originally.

I paid 5 million for it, so I don’t wanna see it on the cosmetic shop or something.

Who’re you talking to…??
