Audio cues for agony and haunt?

does anyone have a weak aura, or anything really, that will allow me to trigger a sound effect when these two dots are about to drop - so i keep the stacks rolling?

any suggestions would be very welcome

Why do you need a sound as opposed to the usual weakauras?

I find an audio warning very handy - i have one for my bm hunter for the 3 stacks of thingy - was hoping to make a similar one for haunt (mainly).

I just find it easier than a visual only weak aura - lots of things are going on, etc

Just add audio to your WA with a quick google search how to do. Or play with the addon for 3 nanoseconds.

hey thanks for your reply. i did have a look for a specific weak aura and i tried to modify the one i downloaded to trigger a sound effect but no luck :frowning:

So its just haunt i need to worry about dropping stacks? anyone have a link to a nice weak aura with a sfx warning i could try ?

i recommend a glow effect on your nameplate addon

Thanks for the suggestion Iheb, but a sfx like sonar ping works well for me on my bm hunter alt, was hoping to add something similar.

As bm its a single buff, but obviously for affliction it could be on many mobs, so your suggestion is probably sensible. Will have a look ty again.

I advise you to learn how to handle multidotting with a good nameplate setup. I suggest using Plater or Elvui to tweak nameplates in any way you want. It can have glow effects, etc. But, if you learn how to watch nameplates for expiring dots, you will have a much better time at playing and be more efficient. If you use audio cues to multidot, you might not have as accurate a time at doing it as you would if you just watch nameplates. Reason is, I don’t see how you would be able to differentiate which mob’s dots are about to expire just through an audio cue. Instad, you can just watch and rely on your eyes. It takes a while to get good at multidotting, especially in something like M+ where there are big pulls and ombs are stacked. But in a lower key it shouldnt matter too much to refresh dots as things die within 20s anyway so 1 full agony duration

hi Alocken, thanks for your reply. Yeah im pretty sure you’re correct. I was really after the audio q for single target as i let the buff drop too often. for sow the seeds m+ doesn’t really matter quite as much as stuff melts. I will have a look at plater, maybe elvui too and see.
thanks again

Single target is by far the easiest to maintain your dots. You should never let them fall off, just look at their timing on your enemy’s health bar where you target it, it doesn’t even need a nameplate in such a case. Or you can download a warlock weakaura package from wago. io that can help u track dots for ST.

i have a warlock weak aura setup that works well, its just i’d like an audio warning when agony is close to dropping off so i don’t have to constantly monitor it

you can just make it start glowing when its duration is < X seconds, that way it can still grab your attention if ur looking at something else
