I notice mostly in combat scenarios but not always combat example just stood at the start of the cinderbrew meadery with sound effects enabled reduces my fps harshly. I set my cap to 160 which for the most part i maintain excluding the obvious places. With sound effects on my fps drops to 40-60 when idling and down to 5-20 in combat. Disabling sound effects I regain all dropped fps instantly even in combat.
Changing my graphics settings from max across the board to minimum does not change or reduce the fps drop. When in the overworld this reduces my fps but not to the same severity. I have tried removing and manually installing all audio drivers and graphics drivers. A clean install with and without addons.
