Aug evoker being the worst dps specc since the end of season 2 with no buffs coming

I see people ask for enhancement shamen , arms and fire mage buffs. But no one is talking how out of the 4 seasons Aug exists , it isn’t playable in 3/4. at the moment Aug doesn’t bring anything to the table that devastation doesn’t do.

The only way to fix this is either Atleast double it’s healing output so it can force high dampening games again or increase the buffs it gives to ally’s.

We as community need to draw blizzards attention on Aug at this point ! Or we may just not see any in arena at all

It would be far less work to just delete the class.

They could literally add a 1,5x or 2x multiplier to every ability and it would be still not top tier.

That’s like 5 minute dev time but ah well gotta work on more traidng post recolour

Aug is not a dps spec. It’s a support spec.

It should deal comparable damage to a healer. Not a lot.

Everyone knew it would be impossible to balance aug (at least for these devs), which was displayed by how it ruined pvp when it was added in df.

So thankfully they listened to their playerbase for once, and realised that aug was a failed attempt at something different, and best left in the bin.

Tank specs, BM and demonology and augmentation should never be good in PvP, as they are impossible to balance.

its a fun spec to play in a duo when its OP but realistically its always going to be a nightmare to balance. it’ll either be ridiculously OP or so bad you’d rather have a tank. its been both in the past and thats likely where it’ll continue to go.

best thing you can ask for is them to rework it into a 2nd wizard spec based around casts rather than channels similar to the destro v affliction specs used to work before they made them weird in Legion.
