Should know well by now new classes, or in this case a Spec, are typically OP till the nerf bat comes along.
If they wanna do this they should probably add a 4th role, which is support, and make dungeons for 6 people, or 2 dps and 1 support.
Realistically though, this isnāt really gonna solve anything, because support is really nice to have, but not strictly a required role, like the other 3.
If you lack dps heal or tank, youāre gonna struggle a lot, if you lack a support, itās significant, but not key destroying.

Because we currently have 26 dps, 7 heals, 5 tanks and 1 support.
And having only 2 slots for so many dps is crazy, you will never get invited to a group. Assuming that you will alwalys have a support role on 5 man content because of the balance that gives to the grup.
If weāre at remaking group size, Iād stay make it 1-1-1-5. Itās not like thereās no problem for DPS to get into the group today.
You want a single healer to heal 8? Thatāll be fun in 25 keys
If dungeons will be tuned for that, why not. I remember solo healing ICC 10 hm. It was fun. Donāt forget about support role which is supposed to help healer as well.

I main mw and I am very okay with being off meta but this is just too much. The whole progress i made on the monk feels worthless. The problem is that itās not about the other specs dps or healing, itās the complementary utility which is currently tuned around aug. Priest is ofc always good bc pi and md, but for example monk has pretty decent utility that kinda overlaps with aug as in speed/avoidance/healing buffs and thus the class fell even more behind because you now seek other dispels, brez, and finally a spec that benefits the most from aug buffs which might currently be a mage but it is the only non fixed slot. I guess dk could do just as well with burst etc etc, but then dk is a melee which is also much riskier in high keys.
The spec is okay, but the overall evoker utility was a bit much even before and now it is just crazy op. Like as monk you need 2 talent points for speed buff that are a dead node. As aug u have it free. I hope there are mass reworks planned for class utility otherwise blizz really messed things up.
Because nerfing damage of specs that are just average without aug but op with aug is going to make bad specs without changing the meta because the perfect utility mix will stay.
Aug needs a lot more data and testing and tuning but itās a bit too late, as they managed to mess up balance mid-season instead of just releasing it with new tier or restricting it from ranked raid/m+ content until itās patched a bit.
Personally I would had been a lot happier with a tanking spec instead of experimental support
Augment have to be deleted, like Yasuo.
