Am I the only one thinking that Blizzard is pushing things here? Singular weapons marked at 400 tenders, multiple 600 tender mounts and worst of all: companion weapons for a real money set being locked behind individual 400 tender purchases.
What the heck is going on here? When did Blizzard decide that it was a good idea to lock companion weapon sets behind the FOMO tender store and why have they suddenly decided to overprice them when we can still only earn 1000 tender per month?
These items should be locked behind a quest chain, the same as the recolors of the armor set are, giving players more content to enjoy as a reward for spending more money on the other editions of the game.
I’m starting to worry that we’re going to be seeing trader’s tender packs on the in game store soon if this is the sort of thing we see as the norm now.
I think the answer is very simple here they want you to spend more time to get the item. How more time you spent means more days, months and maybe even years. so more money for them. Think thats the simple reason here.
I got literally 7k Tendies. There’s nothing in the shop that attracts me, if it does for you then they’re doing a proper job and then the question is if you saved enough to spend on it.
Especially if you have multiply Game Accounts bound to your BNet Account. Then you can earn 1000 tender on each monthly as long as you subscribe for each. Yet the unlocked Transmogs etc. are shared across the entire BNet account.
I’ve been happily spending my tenders the months I have been playing because I have been liking what I’ve seen in there. But putting up companion weapon sets for a real money transmog set we’ve already seen quests developed for is a line we shouldn’t be celebrating them crossing.
Those weapons could easily have been tied into in game content through quests or achievements, giving even further value to the collector’s edition, instead we’re now having to fight against a timed store with limited currency and the fear of missing out, especially if you’re only coming back to the game after a long break or have bought earlier trading post offerings, giving you only a small pool of tenders to use.
It is 500 for an active WoW license and another 500 earnable per month on the BNET. That means, one thousand max per month on a BNET even if you have multiple active WoW licenses.
The exclusion is if you buy Tendies, either bundled with other offers or prepurchase specials like the TWW one.
I’m easily impressed by the new goods and always poor, so even though I doubt this is some new evil scheme to screw the players over in yet another unnecessarily elaborate way, I still want more tendies and will stand with you in your battle.
Onward comrades! Down with the king!
If you look at 41 rewards and you cant buy like 90 % of rewards after you have bought TWO MOUNTS!!! You are supposed to get more tender if there are at least 40 rewards. How are you supposed to buy pet, cosmetic or toy then? Prices are just completetly WRONG and you have to adjust better!
Maybe, you should STOP to add 2 mounts every month else you cant buy anything with those stupid overprices. I freeze pet more than 1 year now because it cost 750 tender. If you think it is right price? Definitely not! Thanks
Am I hearing “seize the means of tenderisation?” Because I would be all for it!
Seriously though, well not that I wasn’t serious but you know what I mean, I’m also always broke on tender. They had one month where some extra was possible but aside from that, sheesh. The only good thing I keep in mind is that these things come again. The Wildhammer hammers have been here before, they will come again.
As for the prices, personally I think they are better than before. Yeah the “primary” stuff costs a bunch but that’s always been the case, at least I feel like the “lesser” items are less costly these days. For now I bought Worgly (because how many murloc pets can you get just like that?!) and am eyeing one of the mounts (the horde/alliance switcheroos, already got the horseys)…and/or getting Pokee that I have frozen so I can then freeze the other/one of the mounts…but I also really really want the tomes and the red assymetric axe and the glaive and the…oh well…
Every month the amount of Tender needed to purchase everything new is at least 3 times higher than the total amount of Tender acquirable. This goes absolutely against the desired game design of completionists and collectors.
Imagine if someone told you that because you got the seasonal AotC title, your account is no longer eligible on any character to earn the seasonal M+ title even if you meet the criteria because you met your quota for the season. This is what is going on with Tenders and the Tender shop.
maybe but thats not what it should be about. With the amount you can gather for my opinion you should get the most of the month. To be honest better all. How should someone catch up if he lost 1 or a few months… he needs to wait and even than he has no chance to buy what he wants.
I am sitting on nearly 18k now. There is very little in the TP that attracts me and I am mount saturated. Not even weapons grab my attention anymore. Still wish we could sell our Tender’s on the AH.
