I hate the idea of getting agency taken away from the player but if they are set on auto consuming a tea charge at least make it so that it only happens when you have 3 charges or with a 1min cd so I never run out of tea in my CDs without ever using one

Yeah, this change sucks. You really don’t want the tea to trigger automatically.
With this change, if you want to maintain an optimal rotation, you’ll never go below 50 energy. It’s like they nerfed our energy cap from 300 to 250…
Blizzard should reconsider, either make this optional or discard the change. No one who plays this class regularly wants it.

You can tell whoever designed this doesnt play sub rogue and never has. Probably doesnt play rogue. So he forgot that the main reason for tea is the mastery not the energy and so you dont use it when youre low on energy but on your cooldowns.
BUT hey they have time for an amazing rework for hunter talent tree that the spec didnt really need while rogue is completely blosted, buggy and broken.

I mean… as a Outlaw rogue we do use it mainly for energy xD
All the more reason why its poorly designed. Why is it in the class tree when different specs use it for dif reasons? Dunno, a mess overall
There has to be a function to deactivate the automatic usage of tea. Especially when stacking mastery, you only drink tea for bursting and not for general energy purposes.
