No this is what R14 farmers are doing now for honor I think. Super fast AV rushes for hours and hours on end.

No it won’t be back. Because people who were doing it were doing it for the honor only. They don’t care about playing, they just need to grind that rank to feel special. AV is the perfect way for them, brainless PvE and free honor. They will not be doing wpvp again, because they get much less honor for that and they would never rank up. They HAVE TO go AV now and camp it 24/7 to even have a chance.

Nobody plays for fun anymore its all a competition to be the best. Today’s gamer mentality is all about how quick can i clear this game unfortunately.

Like people said when Phase 2 come out: Boohoo. Don’t like it? Don’t play it. No one cared when people were still trying to level or run to instances and just get constantly ganked/griefed. Go play another game or something.
People know today how to do the most efficient honor farms. Even if we loose as horde we often gain MORE honor than the alliance.
2019 mentality = Do not play what you enjoy the most, but only what rewards you the most.
Why don’t you just play WSG if you hate AV? Are you ONLY playing for the rewards? In that case, just stop playing. The rewards in here don’t mean sh*t IRL.

It’s the mentality of players who’re more focused on getting as much honour as possible; in the fastest way, rather than the BG version system.
2006 was a different generation of players compared to today and that was the reason AV was so different back then.

This is terrible, 5 minute AV’s and day 1 exalted, people are gonna get bored of the game even sooner now. Not once have I turned in an item, simply because I don’t have to…this has nothing to do with classic AV, even the BFA classic AV event offers a better AV experience.

I always hated AV. It shows the worst quality of egoists players.
AB is the only BG I enjoyed in Vanilla. Except when one team is AFKing. Also a loser’s mentality.
What if you like PvP but want to like, you know, get any chance of getting higher ranks for, you know, actually PvPing? Because everyone is just gonna spam the AV farm now, that is a PvE race, not PvP at all, so you either have to do it as well or just /bye bye ranks? Hm, what then?
Everyone will be running round in full pvp epic set by this rate
