Can someone please explain the reasoning for the continued awakened raid rotation? Can you please rethink this decision and open up all raids ? Not all guilds want to do all the raids. The general vibe is raiders want to be able to choose what they progress this season and not be forced to wait 2 weeks to reprogress.
I think this decision is a big mistake and will demotivate players and raid teams.
They probably forgot to flip a switch, and decided to run with it then owning up to making another mistake.
As far as I know all raids will be open starting week 8 (or 9) I forgot.
Buuuut as a counter argument to all awakened raids all the time… I’m trying to get the legendary axe for my paladin and I dread Amirdrassil awakened weeks, I have no issue clearing the raid on awakened HC, but it does take longer and I have next to no interest in raiding other than that axe, so yeah I prefer the non-awakened version. Solution to this might be the ability to toggle between awakened and non-awakened or to just put damn axe in the bullion store ( I swear I would gladly pay more bullions if that would mean I don’t have to farm Fyrrak anymore).

Agreed it’s a mistake to change it last minute. Don’t announce they’ll all be active and then rescind on the promised date.
Another bait and switch this season, first the cloak exp in remix and now this. I mean this is just bad and sad.
I’m in the same situation on my warrior 
need that a four set to improve my dmg. Hopefully I get a good vault. Also sucks that’s their not awakened was hoping to do the normal abberus for the mount but I gotta wait a week. Saves me 70k gold tho so bonus 
I can run you through a few M+ dungeons and you can convert the gear if you need a 4 set.
Also it really sucks that you are essentially dead if you want to run a plate alt this late into the expansion. Don’t get me wrong I love legendaries, but I think that the best implementation of them was Shadowmourne/Cata daggers and staff, where anyone could get the quest but only a few at a time could complete it.
I’ve got a piece I can convert and I just need one of the other two from vault so shouldn’t be too bad. Just the Lego I need. Rf q will be fun kater
Fancied a different class and enjoying warrior for once. I don’t mind farming a legendary. Feels like part of an mmorpg another rpg aspect people want removed. And then people complain it’s no longer an rpg anymore. Funny that. Tho I don’t see why the legos aren’t just on the bullion vendor even if they need to have dropped on an alt it would be great.
Rotation sucks. If we had everything open, gering up alts would be easy. But noooo, blizzard just had to have timegate fun again.
We should just all leave for Final Fantasy again till WW comes out to make them rething such stupid decisions, they grew too confident again.
Yes but it’s a seasonal weapon. It takes 15 HC kills do get it, which is ~4 months in a season that lasts 6 months. I mean yes you can get lucky and get it earlier, but we have seen people report that they are on their 17-18 HC kill and the weapon still hasn’t dropped. Plus we dmg increase from that item is insane and makes mandatory if you want do be able to compete.
Also Shadowmourne and the Cata leggos also did require you to grind, all of them took somewhere between 1-2 months to complete and you had to rely on your guild to help you out. I don’t see why this can’t be applied to todays leggo acquisition whit a few tweaks to make it pug friendly.
If blizz added a quest line people would cry it took to long. The modern player base is very now now now but like I said before there’s no reason it shouldn’t be on the vendor
And yet it would be miles better than making it an RNG drop.
Anything other then opening it in the mail is bad nowadays or that’s how it looks a lot of the time. People biggest issue in dragonflight is gearing takes too long when it takes the same amount of time as the last few expacs. Back in the day people played mmos for the grind 
I mean yeah I get that the WoW playerbase will cry whatever Blizzard does, hell some will even go “Legendaries used to be special” if they mail them to everyone. I get it, but like I said having it be an RNG drop while it’s value being extremely time limited is just weird.
For example, we had Thunderfury which had a similar acquisition, 2 rare RNG drops and a hefty gold cost. However Thunderfury came from the first raid in the game and was valuable throughout the whole expansion (some even still used it in BT). Now that is value, having to grind for ~4 months and then spending what used to be fortune (mats are very cheap atm) only to get 2 months of value from the weapon is pretty unsatisfying, and that is IF you started farming it since day 1, if you decided midway through the patch “gee I’m gonna roll a ret/furry/arms/blood” you are very likely screwed.
Also I agree it should have been on the vendor, make it cost 6 bullions for all I care.
