So I did Awakening the machine, as a rogue (outlaw for outdoor content cause I hate myself) during wave 20 apperently if you vanish the boss reset, without the encounter resetting so FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, don’t play a rogue…
This is why as a rogue, vanish isnt a dps cooldown and is more of a “This isn’t going as planned” CD for open world.
Same just happened to me.
I hate that vanish IS an offensive CD.
Just give me shadow dance with 2 charges and remove the possibility of using vanish offensively
Vanish before boss spawns?
Something similar happened to me, I Vanished by instinct and the robot that makes other robots invincible bugged out and I couldn’t damage it, he was evading all attacks 
Luckily if you create enough space between them they lose the invulnerability.
If they bug out because of Vanish (which you shouldn’t use in there just in case) all you have to do is vanish again until they reset and aggro the main guy, then you can engage again in combat.
Also I approve my fellow Rogues asking for Vanish to not be an offensive CD for the love of God…
