It would be nice if they fixed professions and made them more fun again.
The changes they’ve made in DF and now TWW made them horrible, imo.

i remember frostfire tailoring and spellfire from TBC
i think that was the last time i had fun with profensions
next expac im going to go more into JC/Mining and hope for multi procs

I presume you’ll be able to put in work orders for items though like we can for most things now.
Which I don’t want. I don’t want to have to depend on other players to get my stuff. I hate the work order system; it’s clunky and confusing (for instance: you really should be able to purchase any materials you’re lacking straight from the AH inside the work order UI, imo).
And that’s just one gripe I have with the system. I also don’t want to have to tip 10k gold for someone else to hopefully find my order ‘worthy enough’ to craft.

I would hope they are available as public orders and you don’t have to tip insane amounts. I doubt there is any quality involved like with armor etc.
the problem with work orders and public orders. they have a cap.
and its so low its pointless
remove the cap and let us be little goblins earning gold
if not gnome heads as wallmount then no go.
The cap is so that one person doesn’t steam through them all.

god forbid if we were actually allowed to make gold at a reasonable rate in game
most Work order or public net you 2kgold per order in " fee’s "
when you are capped to like 5 per day its pretty terrible
professions are dead if the market doesnt support it
If you want to make gold, you look for business in trade etc. That’s the idea behind it. You can goblin away there doing as many personal orders as your heart desires.

you literally have to download an addon that AUTO whispers people
- the literal only fix it to remove the cap and let the market flourish on the work orders…
it will remove the need to spam trade chat
once you accept an order its locked to you until completion , no1 else can accept it. work orders have fail safes for snipers
Yet people manage to make gold without such tools.

its like that scene from nemo when all the seaguls are shouting " MINE MINE MINE "
remove the unnessary spam from chat channels, remove the cap to work orders, and then we would FIX 2 birds with 1 stone.

and increase the need for profession work orders
And again, my point stands. Plenty of crafters manage without and make gold.

Don’t be so daft. There is zero need to have addons. It’s like claiming you can’t sell anything on the AH unless you have TSM. There are tools (addons) that can make someone’s life easier. They are not compulsory, nor does it bar anyone else from being able to sell their crafting skills.
Nobody I know who sells their services uses any of those addons. They simply advertise in trade and respond to the people that whisper them. There is a brief exchange and an order is put in. They make it and hey presto job done.
However this is now going off at a tangent. There is a reason there is a limit to public orders, if you want to do all the orders going then advertise your services like everyone else.
Back to player housing plox.
And @Tah if it comes to it, you can give me your personal orders!!! Just provide the mats and a tip you feel is fair.

my suggestion of removing the cap , removes the Bots capabilities and revenue.
you look into trade chat now, they are not real people. they are bots. the same bots every day … selling " prof goods and services "
- a single sale in trade chat is not going to make professions good. thats fact.

No… I just dislike the whole notion of player created items. Because you just know people are going to ask for insane prices for a long time.
