Bet it will be filled with bugs and timegate at launch. For a month you won’t be able to enter only watch it from the outside.

The more I read, the more I look forward to it. I’m really glad to hear that they are incorporating professions into the crafting- something that I had hoped to see implemented. :blue_heart: Gives me a good excuse to get into Jewelcrafting more.

All sounds very promising. Now just remove the neighbourhood and let us have a better choice of locations.

I feel like you are going too hard on the whole Traditional ā€œHouseā€ and it will feel very cramped .
This is a fantasy game right . I understand we need to place everything in a single zone , from technical perspective …
But can we change the interior to be much more free ?

Imagine entering your house and walls and ceiling disappear and suddenly you are looking up at Argus , or the Netherstorm .
The dƩcor is placed on the ground or on treess / walls appearing out of the ground .

Imagine something like the Matrix where Morpheus takes Neo in to show him what the Matrix is and the real ā€œworldā€ looks like .
I think this would be supper cool .

ill bet the house is 100% alliance based and nothing for horde again.

A good suggestion for housing rewards/decoration is being able to display mounts that I’ve collected on the yard of my house plot… or even pets that have been collected, and you’d be able to see them running around the yard. Hopefully we get to see tons of different housing areas and themes later down the line aswell, I personally hope we’ll be able to settle in any of the housing areas no matter the faction.

Overal pretty much what I expected and I’m fine with.

Not happy with having to rely on other players in regards to profession crafted stuff Because I’m NOT leveling professions on alts; I just don’t like crafting professions in general.

I hope that there’s multiple ways to get some stuff. Like… I would hate it if this ā€˜one bench look’ that I really want is locked behind doing PvP for instance.

Nice idea to shere whats up before it made.So it can be seen how we the players react and change stuff if needed.Like this direction you taking.Hyped

Everything I’ve seen about Player Housing looks awesome, but I am very nervous that I’ve seen no mentions of how many houses we can own.

This article mentioned ā€œyour Horde house and your Alliance houseā€, and other articles have mentioned you can own two houses simultaneous in each neighborhood. But I really hope we’re not limited to just one house per faction. The house I would want to make for my Orc character is very different to the house I would want to make for my Blood Elf, and the house I wanna make for my Human is very different to the house I’d make for my Night Elf or demonic man’ari Draenei.

Please please please give us a confirmation on whether or not we will be able to make character-specific houses and not just two Warbound houses.

I also have different Neighborhoods I would wanna contribute to. I would wanna be in a Neighborhood with my Guild, but I also have another group of friends from various other Guilds I’d wanna be in a Neighborhood with, and I also would wanna be in a random Public Neighborhood to meet new people.

Article mentions a ā€œheads upā€ that you can start working towards earning meta achievements, but currently you can not earn " Back from the Beyond" because of bugged content that you need in order to earn that achievement (The events in the Maw are bugged), have made bug report.

Gonna be real here, decorations should be an unlock, not a finite amount of specific items. There is no good reason for us to have to keep inventory of specific items, opposed to just making it an unlock and allowing us to go nuts and create some amazing interiors.
I am aware that other MMOs do this, but that doesn’t mean I like the idea personally. Making us have to purchase each and every copy of a single chair model is stupid, and I’m not happy about it. Unlocks would’ve just been better, like with transmogs.
This is also especially the case since I’ve heard that the hard limit on invididual items is 10000. So I genuinely do not see why they cannot be simply item unlocks instead and just let us do as we please without having to waste gold on every individual piece.

That being said though, if you’re going to make prices for the decor reasonable and pretty damn cheap where applicable, then it’ll at least be more tolerable. I’m still not happy about it, but at least it’s not as bad as it could be.

  • On the flipside, there’s a concept of ā€œuniqueā€ decor that you can only place once, no matter how many copies of it you may have. It doesn’t make sense, for example, to place 9 copies of Onyxia’s Head on your wall (despite how many times you may have killed her).

Everything looks great apart from this. Seems like an arbitrary restriction, especially considering everything already shown in housing has big emphasis on player freedom. If someone really wanted 9 Onyxia heads then why not? From what has been shown people will be building all manner of stupid ā€œnon-RPā€ stuff, and yet we’re concerned about the lore accuracy of certain decorations?

Otherwise I’m very excited to see what the exterior decoration will look like

Ok Blizz here’s my cook…

Each zone has a music track you have already implemented into the game. Each zone also has a loremaster achievement. Our houses will need to have a music track of some sort.

Please make it so we can complete the loremaster achievement or some similar zone achievement and then be able to have that zones music as a customisable option for our house.

Lastly, there are what we think of as ā€œTrophies.ā€ These are things that require skillful play, cooperation with other players, and/or larger time commitments. Think along the lines of M+ and raid rewards or long-term Achievements. If you’re looking to mount Onyxia’s head on the wall, you’ll have to defeat her and take it!

…And there we have it.
While I understand that some fancy stuff will come from Raids and M+,
I can already predict the coolest stuff is going to locked behind insane achievement requirements such as Curve, Keystone and what not, effectively ruling out those who genuily care about housing.

Mark my words.

Was expecting this to be honest and I kinda get why they would do it that way.

From a business point it makes sense to A. Maybe get the players that do hard content to also be interested in housing cause they get some crazy decorations and B. If the decor from the harde content is good enough you may get the often more casual housing interest folks to do that content and by that bolstering the numbers
