Well not so much a complaint but a couple of annoying factors.

This afternoon was the first time I have had all week to give it a go.

I did not watch any guides on youtube or have any addons i thought id just go in blind in and learn the hard way.

I am an Ilvl 296 Brewmaster with Val sitting at level 63. I have the epic curios.

I jumped in to ? to get a feel for it. Wiped a couple of times but once you get a rhythm it was fairly easy.

Then i tried ?? and wow I was shocked at how difficult it was. It took me a few tried to stop panicking when Serpent Strike chunked me and I dont have a look of cooldown to mitigate it. I learn that i need to cycle purifying brew at the right time. The rest of the rotation up until the simon says part was straight forward, yet tense.

Then i get to the simon says part and the add through me off completely and the screen becomes a green mess, i couldnt see the safe zones clear enough and keeping an eye on the add didnt help so i have barely been able to progress.

Then i looked up some guides on youtube and i was shocked to find that you could power level Val to 80 using the Dun Dun and repeating ring of honour delve and collect curios quickly.

Ok gave that a go and i was annoyed to find out that this is either bugged or hotfixed which is mega unfair for us later to the party this week.

Then i discovered you can get 2 codex powers and you can gain extra coins with alts! Now unless you follow every detail of the PTR how am i supposed to know this? If i knew in advance i wouldve leveled more alts to take advantage of this.

I also discovered some classes have it easier, especially a spec like prot paladin which has an easier time with interrupts and can bubble some of the harder mechanics.

I know this can be done regardless of the above but its clear Bliz need better in game communication or level the playing field. Some people who already have it, had a considerably easier time which isn’t fair and disapointing.

Anyway, rant over and back to the grind. Not too fussed about the title so may just wait until i out gear it a bit. Good luck to everyone.

Atleast you didnt need to pray rng to not 2 hit with autoattack-crit.

The rest of it, yes thats the challange.

None of the powers from the new season were needed to defeat the boss.

It’s a memory game boss. Also, don’t play it as a tank. The boss isn’t going to one-shot you in a DPS spec, and I think dealing with the tank buster on top of all the other mechanics is more annoying.

Also, my Valeera was level 80 and completely useless. The only thing she did was dispel me, and she even killed two of my attempts by stunning the add in the worst possible position right as I was about to interrupt it. She basically killed me. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

It can 2 hit you if it decides to each of its hits are crit.

I gave up lol, its just not for me. I just suck at the game and theres far too much going on for me to care about a title.

Hopefully when i out gear it, it wont be so bad.

I do wonder after all these years why i still play the game i never feel like its fun. A few days away from this bloody snake might help lol.

I did a lot of pulls because of memory game failing never did that to me yes he did hit me hard but not one of my fails were because boss decided to meele me :smiley:

I am a glutton for punishment and came back and had another try. Was going well and Val stunned the echo in simon says part and i couldnt pull him out to interupt.

I have the time of the waves down but then the interrupt poison never seems to work when i need it.

Ive whakced the contracts up to 100 just to see the effects.

I mean i done all the mage towers i wanted when it was current but i just feel like this is worst. I even tried one button rotation to take the load off but theres still too many samey colours and too many things going on lol.

There seems to be some weird buggy timining elements where he wont go to the simon says event and summons another wave or pools. Annoying.

I think I am getting too old for this. Afternoon wasted lol

Who is actually doing this, is it for the 1 percenter? I ove wow but sometimes things come along that make me question it.

If you phase with waves its certanly a wipe.

Try stop at 92%, 62% and 32% to wait a wave cast, let if finished then push it.
