Alliance:
‘‘So, your Alliance still endures. Longer than I expected, though she has already planted the seeds of its downfall. She is patient, that one. When your thrones run red with betrayal… when your holy places burn and the shattered mask hangs above your hearth… only then you will know. And it will be too late.
It matters not. You are blind to the true darkness closing in around you.’’
Horde
‘‘So, she found me at last. Sent her underlings to finish the job.
Tell me, when she seized your throne of hides and bones, was your allegiance forced? No… I’d wager you surrendered it willingly… or were convinced you did.
It matters not. You are blind to the darkness in your midst.’’
In the recent cutscene from 8.1 war campaign after Rastakhan’s funeral, Sylvanas raises Derek Proudmore to ‘‘adjust’’ his mind to make him kill the alliance leaders in their sleep.
From what Varimathras says : ’‘she has already planted the seeds of its downfall. She is patient, that one.’' is starting at the Broken Shore when she leaves the legion to kill Varyan, and Vol’jin dies so she can become warchief. and maybe she is the one who somehow whispered to Vol’jin.
i think the ‘‘holy places burned’’ is Teldrassil. because of Sylvanas.
And : ’‘When your thrones run red with betrayal’' will be when UNDEAD DEREK PROUDMORE KILLS ONE OR MORE ALLIANCE LEADERS. Maybe Jaina, maybe her mother… who knows.
I think this is her big vengeance plan to the alliance and the living.
Any thoughts ? sorry for bad english.
So, everyone would have tried to kill the forsaken, they stayed in the shadows until now. had luck with Runetotem accepting them. but all the majority of the living hate them, so this is the ‘‘terrible vengeance of the forsaken’’ like Putress says in the Wrath Gate cinematic ‘’ Death to the scourge and death to the living’’ it seems like maybe Sylvanas knew about it and also she had been the one who ordered the attack. all her actions after that , with Gilneas and Bfa confirms her hate for the alliance and the living.
No one wanted to kill them except the leaders of the Scarlet Crusade, Renault Mograine and Whitemane, who were crazy anyway. Varian and later on Bolvar/Anduin didn’t care about Sylvanas, either because they didn’t actually have the means to launch a genocidal campaign north, or simply because there were worse threats to deal with (such as the traitor and terrorist VanCleef).
Don’t overstate things. The Alliance only rejected the Forsaken. They didn’t hunt them down, no matter what that dog Nathanos claims.
have you seen her hair, it’s dry and really brittle. If my hair looked like that i wouldn’t have positive emotions either. And her fingernails don’t look healthy either.
Only people who don’t look closely can consider her “hot”
It’s already heavily suggested in Vol 3 of the Chronicle, and supported by some tweets a while back that Sylvanas had given the green light to the Forsaken Blight being used, she just didn’t expect Putress to act as he did and then turn on her. She basically was outmaneuvered by Varimathras (I mean who can out-guile a Dreadlord, not even her majesty the snowflake) and had to flatly deny she had anything to do with the Wrathgate to Thrall, despite the signs a tremendous amount of Forsaken were in on the whole thing.
Well its fairly valid to consider Sylvannas mind-controlled Voljin for the throne. Back in Warcraft 3 her level six ultimate was Mind-control after all and we already know lesser banshees can posses others.
The mask above ur hearthas has been referenced elsewhere is probably the Forsaken symbol/logo, which makes sense.
However , my opinion is that the Alliance dialogue “she” does not refere to Sylvanas.
Firstly because it makes much more sense for someone internally to “plant a seed for its downfall” and secondly the tone he uses in the sentence “she is patient, that one” is different from the tone used for Sylvannas who is acquianted to him.
