With 10.0.5 the backpack from BfA hides now our weapons. Idk who smoked some carpet and openend that Jira task, but please implement at least a persistent option to show the weapons again.

That’s a shame… I like it more when weapons show! But many people complained about it showing weapons.
Go fill a bug report because I doubt that is intentional.

Recently I mentioned that it is nice because it is the only backpack that doesn’t hide it and that I like it better that way (the clipping doesn’t look so bad due to the backpack’s design), and of course then Blizzard swiftly ‘fixed’ it. With such things they seem to be very quick.
I still remember SL S2 with some 2-hand swords being holstered like 1-hand swords on the hip…

It’s funny because when I went on Reddit I came to one post which was like ‘thank you for finally hiding my weapon with the bag’ and a couple of posts lower there was a ‘why have you done this, backpack hides my weapon now’.
I do think it looks better when the weapons are hidden and don’t sit behind the backpack but I realise others just want a choice.
Yeah, it is totally fine, that some players like it with hidden weapons. But at least they could implement an option, if they doing this kind of changes
