But honestly, was it really a “bug” when you could still see back-sheathed weapons as well? Why was this removed?
If anything, weaponry visibility should be a toggleable option. It looked great with some backpacks! It shouldn’t have been removed for all of them…
I love backpack specifically for the fact that they hide weapons, but I’d much rather they made “hide when sheated” transmog option for weapons, so that I wouldn’t need a backpack to hide it, and weapon enjoyers could see their weapons with backpacks equipped.
I remember when the Black Dragonscale backpack was first added in BfA, shields would sit nicely over the backpack, but at some point in Shadowlands that got broke somehow and they started to clip through the backpack and looked aweful. Later in SL that was changed so the backpack hid them in the same way as some of the more elaborate covenant back transmogs did.
IIRC the Tuskar backpacks don’t hide weapons (And also play nice with shields).
I wore Rustic Tuskarr Backpack until March 1st (when I got the current mog) and it did hide my staff.
You mean the small “normal” looking backpack without the tusks and bedroll? Yeah, that’s never shown back-sheathed weapons for me, sadly.
That’s actually the backpack I’d love to see the weapon visible on! It’d be more logical than assuming that my sword is just glued to my shoulder blades - instead, it would be slotted between the backpack and my back!
I personally like that it removes your weapon but I can understand that others prefer the choice. Maybe a glyph or something.
Just a toggle in the transmog window, like how shoulders can be transmogged separately.
Speaking of something similar: They should totally add separate mogging options for boots, gloves and wrists too!
It would be great to have an option to show/unshow back(packs/wings/etc) together with weapons!
It’s just sad that they are so cute but at the same time they hide your 2-handed weapon look 
!
