I want more bag and bank space for my characters. Remove the void storage and add it to the bank. Increase with 20 more slots the original main bag, because 4 is nothing. Increase the reagent stack limit. Time for WoW to enter the modern age. Other MMOs like gw2 have:
8 reagent bags (ACCOUNT BOUND) with 643 item slots * 2500 stack limit per item = 1 607 500
12 bag slots * 20 inventory slots each = 240
25 Inventory slots (counting as a bag ACCOUNT BOUND )
Sure add a 5th and 6th bag slot, add another row of bank slots.
Give another page to reagent bank and connect it to the new reagent bag so we can use “both” on the fly.
Leave the void storage alone, at most make it accessible through normal bank.
In wow you can easily have inventory of backpack, 4xbags + reagerent back (20 + 4x32 +32 = 180 slots)
Bank 28 slots, 7x bank tabs + reagerent bank, so using 32 slot bags thats 350 slots.
Now add void storage 160 slots and you have 690 slots.
Since you also counted alts and you can have 60 then without void storage you can get 31800 bank slots and with void storage additional 9600 bank slots, which is over 40 000 slots.
Its time for GW2 to enter the modern age.
Sure I wouldn’t mind more space but comparing to GW2 we are better off.
Also you can have alts with guild banks for even more extra space.
It’s not holding them hostage, that’s so hysterically dramatic. It’s a small incentive for people to actually keep their accounts safe. Keeps the player happy, and alleviates a small portion of bottle-neck from trying to recover players accounts who’ve been hacked.
You can still role a Vulpera, if those 4 bag slots are game breaking for you
in df there is a lot of useless thrash that fill my bag very quick. adding to the various “materials” white we find everywhere sometimes i have to delete things.
what are people holding on too tho? I did a clean purge of my inventory going into dragonflight, I’m averaging 70 empty bag spaces (mostly thanks due to the reagent bag slot) everytime I go to sell off quest rewards.
Inventory purge feels good, like that feeling of sitting down in your house you just finished cleaning
The reagent bag doesn’t help all that much when each of the numerous types of crafting materials comes in three quality-levels, each taking up a separate bag slot, then the white loot, which is used for trading for renown items (Not critical, but still fun to collect), and of course each mob dropping different grey items instead of just a bit more gold, bag space fills up very quickly the past few expansions, but in DF in particular.
It helps more then none at all so I don’t really agree with it, it doesn’t take up a spot where you’d put a regular bag
There’s also the 100 slot reagent bank, I use an addon to automatically transfer all reagents to it in my inventory everytime I open my bank
they still count for crafting too so even with the 3 qualities on everything using an 28 slot bag at worst I’ve had like 5 to 6 items outside of that bag
and with my 70 free on average after most vendor visits yeah I can bleed that easy
My preference is for account bound bank. I personally don’t like each character having a bank. My characters are everywhere and they are not in the cities. The toys accessing the bank are limited and I don’t have time to go to a city to access the banks. I want to log the character see what is in my bags and log to the next one.
But as I said that is personal preference other people like the character bound banks. That is fine. But more space per character will be great especially banks and bags.
And Void storage is the most useless thing I have seen. It must be removed and added to the bank.
There are several issues with the current space limit, especially regarding Dragonflight. Those, who actively skill professions, not only are confronted with crafting items of three different quality levels but also a lot of mats with said levels. Old profession bags, which would have more space than current reagent bags and btw. costed quite the amount of mats themselves sometimes, can’t be equipped.
If you use your bank or guild bank for mats of each profession and each expansion so your alts or guild members will have some in store, then Dragonflight will definitely give you a hard time with that.
Then you apparently have quest items, which are bugged and won’t get removed after finishing the quest. Fishing being overloaded with grey trash items. The drop rate of greens also got increased significantly. If you want to send them to an enchanter alt but are in open world amidst a quest or WQ run and don’t have a mail near you, this can become a problem real quick.
I’d rather see a change where we don’t collect so much crap anymore xD
Every expansion is the same for me, 9/10 of items in my bags I don’t even know wtf is it for, and like half of them you cannot even sell. Expansion ends and only then I feel like I can delete them xD
