I’m used to have side hotbars active from before the patch. I use them for mounts, consumables and such, so I need to have them visible outside of combat.
Before the patch, when I opened the bags, they took priority over actionbars so I could freely move items in bags, now if I try to move item that can be slotted in actionbar, the bar flash over bags and block bagspace, so instead of moving items in bag, I constantly slot them in the hotbar.
is there a way to give bag priority over hotbar, or to move opened bags, so they don’t collide with action bar?
I’m kind of neatfreak and I tried to keep my UI as close to prepatch as possible for my own convenience
Same thing happened to me. I set toolbars 4 and 5 back to default location and the bags stopped covering them. However, still doesn’t help with toolbars I moved to the bottom of the screen as they aren’t even close to the default position (4 and 5 had only been moved slightly towards the edge of the screen). It just looks like if you’ve moved the bars the game doesn’t recognise them and treats the edge of the screen as the place to open bags rather than the edge of the toolbars.
that is what it looks like to me as well. I am not sure if it is bug or just oversight caused by the fact that basic bottom decorations had different size before the patch
they really need to eiter give us option to set priority when bags are open or ability to move bags themselves (which we can’t)
I as a druid tank am used to have basic bar for abilities in specific form
two more bars for abilities I use in all forms
and side bars for consumables and mounts and res and others that are used only outside of combat or under specific conditions
