Balance druid is the worst specs at the moment, in terms of damage maybe they are after tanks. I don’t even think that blizzard cares about balance druid players.
The whole spec is a huge disadvantage it is unplayable right now.
- Starsurge has no impact.
- Starfire has no impact.
- Wrath has no impact.
Imagine casting Starfire for 2 seconds and hitting only 10k that’s terrible.
Please remove astral energy because it has a lot of disadvantages in PVP, balance druid is a caster not a melee class like a rogue, or feral. For melee classes, it is simple to build up energy because you are using your spells instantly but that’s not the case for the balance druid especially when you are after someone in that case you are completely relying on the Moonfire and Sunfire which barely builds up the astral energy.
Add the Solar and Lunar tracker as we had in MOP and CATA because it was straightforward. Right now I have no idea how this works.
Return Astral Communion so we will be able to switch between solar and lunar eclipses.
Add cooldown to the Starfall and give some proc for example when you enter the Lunar eclipse reset the cooldown of the Starfall and you shouldn’t be able to use Starfall while you are in the Lunar eclipse.
Add cooldown to the Starsurge and give a proc for example while you are in combat you have a chance to instantly cast the Starsurge.
Would be neat if you return Cenarion Ward so that every time you are trained by a melee class you won’t be in the bear form.
Another great addition would be Displacer Beast and if we make a decision between Displacer Beast and Wild Charge
This is my opinion and I think these changes will improve the balance druid.
