Why is the mastery getting nerfed?
About Pulsar:
- First of all, removing pulsar was one of my many ideas and I have talked about this many times in previous forums, which am grateful for the apply the change.
- Many compensations have been given whenever the developers removed pulsar and that shows how relied so much on pulsar which was really bad.
- It was bad since I have talked about this a lot in the past, its bad in progression and movement fights which was very punish and really random with boss timers.
Why this is a bad change:
- Master is a healthy stat for balance druid since the stats that are good in both single target and aoe for balance druid is mastery and haste.
- Since mastery is getting nerfed, crit will be good on single target and would be bad in aoe, because of the different spender style for both single and aoe. Starsurge is a big hitting ability, meanwhile starfall is overtime and doesnt require crit chance.
Why should it be reverted:
- It would be bad for the player to change gear in every boss fight and that issue is just too much for raiders.
- The scaling of the spec will be weaker with every patch, since the mastery is nerfed and was one of the biggest things that scaled balance druid in the expansion.
If the numbers are too high, its better to reduce all damage and revert the mastery change for healthier class kit.
