Clone CDs or to peel, keep dots up, offheal whenever needed.
Respect enemy cds and either CC them, line them, or trade a def CD, not too little and not too strong.
If fighting against melees, pull them out to the open, melee will just line you around pillars, force them to fight you in mid.
If up against a caster and they run next to a pillar, run to the opposite pillar and force them to come to you so that they stand in the open. You will lose otherwise if you are the one fighting them in the open when they can line your hard hitting spells next to their pillar.
Convoke whenever you see a good opportunity such as when they are in CC or when they don’t have;
Think a lot about your positioning and watch DRs. You don’t want to waste good CC.
If up against Rogue Mage don’t trinket unless you see;
- Shadowblades
- Combustion, Meteor
Barkskin will NOT save you if they use them. I would suggest AoE CCing them and then Clone the mage, if they trinket they suck because next go with a good Clone and a Stun you win because of Convoke. It’s a good idea to try and force Cloak or other CDs with Alignment/Incarnation and then kill with Convoke. Pressure them with good damage so you force them to play defensively, don’t let the rogue get restealths. Don’t line your partner.
Obvious fails:
If a Priest is running towards you or your partner, he is going for a fear. Root them, CC them or run away.
Don’t Convoke if Grounding Totem is up.
Don’t run Disarm into Feral or WW.
Try to stop Hpaladins when they are on their horse sprinting towards you or your healer in full speed, they are obviously gonna get HoJ’d.
Last tip; You can run Knockback in Blades Edge (arena map with a big bridge) to knock down the target you are CCing and score a kill on your victim who is still on the bridge. You can also root the one you are CCing and knock down the kill target.
Have fun.
