So do i get this right. You now have to activate eclipse on every single pull?
Isn’t that annoying? I mean at some point you just needed to cast a damaging spell to activate it.
Now, Activate, then cast a spell or am I missing something?
You’re not missing much, but if you cast wrath and then hit eclips u’ll get into solar, so for aoe situations u gotta hit starfire BEFORE u press eclips.
I thought there’s no way Balance will be worse than what it was but count on Blizz
to find a way to do it.
It’s an horrible button to press with a global cooldown aswell. Eclipse wasnt perfect but it had a certain rythm on the rotation and they made an effort to streamline it during the years.
Now it feels like a waste of a button.

I just don’t understand the idea and why it would make balance better 
They wanted to make specs more simple with less buttons. But now druid have to press another button, with every single pull.
And I don’t understand why more people are not complaining about this

Yeah I was going to main my balance druid in midnight at first but the new eclipse kind of dumpstered that idea. Now I’m back at the drawing board with what class to play.

I was complaining about this on General, and almost nobody cared.
The idea with Eclipse being an active button is very wrong. It feels clunky. It takes up a GCD that could be used to do damage. Overall, moonkin feels very wrong in this expansion.
I have been playing moonkin since cataclysm, and I went through all the changes they keep on bringing to eclipse… but this one is the worst by far.

Unfortunately I have to agree. At this point I don’t want to switch a mai, but it’s so sad that they nerfed it so badly, and even worse, they made the basic rotation feel so much worse.
Imho the Legion/BFA iteration was the best, and this is the worst. It instantly killed any remaining hype I had for this expansion.

Yea it feels very clunky. I also tried it on OBA. It’s extremely easy to get the rotation wrong with your dots
