As some that started it on 8th character I can tell you. The only quests you need to do in Suramar are Moonguard storyline and the introduction so you can buy stuff from Thalysra. With that being said you need honored or friendly with Court of Farondis, that’s easy and you need revered with Nightfallen and Valajar on that particular character. Although you don’t have to do the whole Nightfallen questline it’s realy beneficial to do so, it unlocks insurrection and that gives a lot of rep. You can get to Revered on the same day you started.

There’s nothing account wide about this questline apart from transmog appearances you get at the end. Everything else needs to be done on every character you want to do Balance of Power.

Also be sure to take the artifact weapon for your spec when you do the last part. You will need to equip it.

Many thanks @ Cedrad .very helpfull !!

One more thing you will need is 30 Blood of Sargeras quite early on so if you don’t have it better start working on collecting some.

you need revered with the valajar at least or you won’t be able to progress the quest past a certain point

And with Nightfallen for scroll
I am on that part rn
