What ability, talent, or “power”, causes Starsurge damage to increase during an Eclipse? I cannot find the talent or buff.
Starsurge deals “Astral Damage”.
Astral damage is both nature and arcane damage. So it benefits from all effects that increase either.
Solar eclipse increase Nature damage, so it increase Astral Damage. Do does Lunar eclipse.
When you have both eclipse effects (Celestial Alignment), Starsurge and other astral damage abilities, gain both benefits.

Because in the past Starsurge buffed the eclipse, so you wanted to Starsurge at the start of the eclipse because it would buff wrath etc.
I looked yesterday and it does not buff the eclipse anymore, so I thought might as well dump the starsurges after the eclipse to allow for as many wraths as possible.
But if the eclipse also buffs starsurge then I must call starsurge during the eclipse too. Maybe need to look how the simc does it to be honest, but I also like experimenting.
