Banned for a week cuz I offended someone

Some dude approaches me in Dornogal and starts mocking my transmog. I tell him to fish off.

1 week auto-ban.

  1. Great reminder to leave your soy game for good.
  2. You’d better thought about rewarding players who stuck with you since 2005. I’m a marketer and I find it laughable that there was zero thank you / rewards for that. Affects retention costs nothing.
  3. Is this a monastery? Stop policing adults /spit
  4. No1 is gonna see that anyway since support now is AI robots lol.

Sorry, not buying it. You wouldn’t get Auto-banned for telling someone to F’ Off. I tell people way more offensive stuff on a daily basis, and I have never had a ban or even mute, ever!

I had a character prompted for a rename, so somebody else could use it :)) AI was telling the name was offensive, it was an Egyptian word symbolizing life :)), so as a quick tip if you want a free name change or a name you like, report it for being offesive make up a short story, the AI will buy it and give it to you.

I played for a long time and I got such a ban already like a year ago or so, I’m probably flagged.

Also might be Dementius LFR, but I didn’t use strong language and I wasn’t the only one expressing dissapointment when there’s always that dude that flies to the boss prematurely.

I have played for 20 years and never had a Ban or Mute in all that time. I get a lot of “Warnings” though.

It’s telling how back in the day I would’ve been emotionally invested and now I just feel “what a bunch of clowns” feeling.

I got 3 weeks ban for saying " you should not be allowed to use PC " and You are F cancer.

Thats what GM told me.

Interesting. Apparently “fish off” is 3 times less offensive.

That whole adult policing - kinda kills our incentive to talk to people which is a big part of MMO.

Given that apparently that ban machine don’t care about the context what so ever.

i got a perma ban for saying “shut the f up”
because i had multiple offenses.
It took a lot to get my account unbanned and i had to move my character to a new WoW2 account because people would report you for nonsense effectively weaponizing the report system for mild cases of simply a sharper tone and not necessarily offensive one.
Another ban was when i was in a Shuffle Lobby i said “go on the mage hes bad he wont react much” which no way it offended the mage since hes not even seing what i wrote, someone just decided to troll me and pressed “report”
